Penalties are scored by luck. Messi is still our best PK taker, it's not like he played an awful PK, the goalie saved it, so it's kudos to Hart. Messi hasn't lost a decisive PK this season, has he? And we won the match (yesterday's), thanks to messi's genius

I know he has but he's still the man. Every legendary player has gone through whatever it is he's going through now (regarding PKs)

The point should be if the PK he missed was decisive or not. But he sure needs some talking to. Even neymar lost a PK Messi allowed him to take some few matches ago (lol) so you see it can happen to anybody

You would agree with me that the solution wouldn't be to choose a different penalty taker. Of course it would be a slap on Messi's face to do such. I believe he needs cajoling, because he has become less potent and lackadaisical in taking and converting penalty kicks.

Make them draw him ear. I feel you because it is really worrisome. But then, taking it away from him would bring up more controversies than bargained for. No one wants that anymore...

Plus, @dippssett, you can't say for sure Messi is the best penalty taker in the team. I disagree with that. How did you know other players' potency in taking PKs? Anywayz, I am not saying anyone is a better PK taker than him or vice-versa. Imagine the controversy wey spring up as Messi let Neymar take that PK against Villarreal and Neymar miss am. A lot were just whining that Messi shouldn't have allowed him to take it. For my mind I say even Neymar is surer of scoring PKs than the Messi himself.
