Are you better off now than you were 6 years ago before President #jonathan was sworn in as president after the death of President Umaru Yaradua? If the economy of a country is getting better, the people feel it before they see official published statistics. Are Nigerians living a higher quality of life now than before because they have access to better, good paying jobs, better healthcare, better education and infrastructure, power or electricity that has removed the need to invest in diesel generators? What is your perception of corruption in the country? Do you feel opportunity is being expanded for all or most of the opportunities in the land is limited to a privilege few who are in government?

Follow links in my signature, NL is blocking any information that does not or may not favour the current government........?

Why don't we make the existing ones solid and effective rather than adding more.
It will only create an avenue for mushroom education in Nigeria.

BTW, what happened to the huge education resuscitation fund the government and ASSU agreed upon last year?
Where are the billions ?

what benefit is there in producing graduates that will still stay at home after graduation due to joblessness or who will be hired as internet tout all because they aren't gainfully employed?

what we need is job creation and not more unis adding to d country's unemployed youths

only two of them currently have a web presence, and King's University [Ashimolowo] offers medical sciences, pharmacy and law?

So many of them in Ogun State.
Presently, Ogun state has the highest number of Universities in Nigeria, these additional ones would increase the numbers

true, Ogun currently has at least 11 universities, adding another 4 will bring the number to about 15.

the plan is probably for every major town in the state to have a university.

Ogun state has one med school i should think, so far. Ashimolowo's university, if it includes medicine, will bring the number of med schools in Osun state, to at least 2, would have been 3 or 4 but Lautech is in Oyo state.

Every state but one, in the southwest, has at least one med school.
