Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) National Leader, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, has criticised the declaration of state of emergency in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States and the subsequent military offensive against the Boko Haram Islamic sect.
Buhari, who featured on the “Guest of the Week,” a Hausa programme of the Kaduna-based Liberty Radio, yesterday said the federal government’s action was a gross injustice against the north. According to him, unlike the special treatment the federal government gave to the Niger Delta militants, the Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished.
He said he was not in support of the declaration of state of emergency in the three north-eastern states because President Goodluck Jonathan had failed from the outset in addressing the security situation in the country.

And their basis was simple and straightforward. The military that ought to wipe out BokoHaram in their midst were not doing so but killing innocent Northerners. While the military was in their midst killing lives, Boko Haram was gaining grounds and becoming stronger. Who in the right senses wont think Jonah-daft have a hiddden agenda to wipe out their people. For instance, the miliatry has suddenly entered the sambissa forest and killing the real terrorist, is anyone complaining that Northerners are being killed? of cos not because its obvious now that the real boko fools are the ones being killed. This wasnt happening before.

Is the north not still there today? now that the military is right inside sambissa as against the towns and villages where innocent lives were wasting their time and molesting the innocent, who is criticizing who now and who is complaining?
The bitter truth is if indeed the culprits are the ones being killed, they will never complain because they themselves want them killed and that explains why they have what we call civillian JTF? Was there any of such down in the south during militant palava?
