Barely 29 days to the country’s general elections, Sahara Reporters, has
revealed the two top ranking police officers that will allegedly help the ruling
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) carry out massive rigging in Lagos State
and other southwest states.
SR which claimed the revelation was made by several police and political
sources alleged that Sam Chukwu and Assistant Inspector General of Police,
Mr. Joseph Mbu, were bid to help the PDP rig the southwest polls.
It described Mr. Chukwu as a corrupt police officer known for masterminding a
group of rogue policemen that carried out kidnapping, armed robbery and other
major crimes in Enugu State.
According to Sahara Reporter, Mr Chukwu, was recently promoted and deployed to Lagos in
order to fortify a team of senior police officers charged with helping the PDP
execute its planned rigging in Lagos State and other southwest states.
It was further disclosed that police sources who spoke with SR, named Mr.
Chukwu, who is linked to a major kidnap and murder case in Enugu, as a key
player in the plot to rig polls as well as AIG Mbu.
