Even though she married at a very young age, she had the most knowledge about Islam amongst the women of her time. My friend's mum married as a secondary school certificate holder, a young girl. She continued her education in her husband's house, and today, she is a PhD holder, and a lecturer at a reputable Nigerian university. Moreover, she is a practising muslimah.
Marrying young does not halt your dreams. The key is marrying the right man, as well as working hard on your own, with determination, to achieve your life goal.
