Hello nairalanders. I'm currently battling with this serious soar throat that started yesterday.

Its so serious I can't talk or eat. I don't know what to do.

Any help please?

Don't just view pls also drop ur suggestions on what I can do to subsidise the pain

I have two practical solutions for you. Forget about pills from drug store.

*Tea(herbs preferably), ginger, lime, honey (optional)
cook them and drink (no milk)

*Buy pepper (very hot/spicy). Blend, cook and drink

Repeat process until it's gone

were u on any medications before the Sore throat? Some medications like zaditen (for allergies) can induce severe sore throats, in addition to Empiree home made recipe, u can try strepsil and anti-biotic. But if no improvement then see ur doctor

Thanks. I couldn't try the pepper thing. But I tried that of ginger lime n honey. And it really helped

No. I wasn't on any medication. I will try and get the strepsil. Thanks
