Waoh.. That's good to hear.. Unlike the previous VC who gave his phone number to students.. A student who thinks he is dissatisfied with a lecturer will just Call up the VC and report the lecturers..

Sir trust me on this we have the best u20 team in the world.. This team is thick. They play as a unit. They are technically advanced and tactically smart.. They have swallowed the philosophy of the coaching crew hook and line..
The coaching crew are passionate and love their jobs.. No room for laxity.
I remember Marc O mark of the Voice of America telling the world in the sunny side of sports with sunny young that Nigeria will win the world cup in the UAE without mincing words. That he saw something he didn't see in other teams camp. After trouncing Mexico, they sent their message home..
This team is reliable, I don't think they have lost up to 5 matches in friendly and in tournament. They only lost to CIV in the African cup final on penalties in a tournament..
I have been following this team.. They can spring surprises..
Didn't you see CAF president watching their match against the Senegalese??..
They play a practical and pragmatic football, perfectly blending African and European style of football..
I wish them the very best of luck..
I pray that give us something to cheer about..

This is a team, Africa will never forget.

I concur with you sir. If you noticed my last paragraph, I reiterated that the manu garba is not carried away with a player exploit.. He judges you based on current form. The team has this Synergy and understanding. If you can't understand the team psychology, you can't break into the team.. AT a point in time Alhassan mu'azum was the 1st choice striker, Success Isaac strolled into camp and took his place.. At a point in time, Bernard Bulbwa was benching Kelechi Iheanacho but he failed the MRI scan and Iheanacho took the Mvp at the world cup and grew in Leaps and bounds..
The beauty of this team is that all the players are of equal strength, even iheanacho told reporters that it will be difficult to get his shirt back. Most of the matches he played after the world cup was from the bench. Haven't you noticed that that Ifeanyi Matthew is a top notch,.
Taiwo Awoniyi is getting better day in day out.. I still reiterate that with Manu garba there is no favourite. You must keep working hard, cux no room for laxity..
You are making it sound like I don't like Taiwo.. I do love the dude. A guy who laced his boot without warming up to take the place of success and went ahead to score 4 goals..
The mind set of African is that they are always satisfied with success and that has been their bane..
Don't forget, Nigeria is blessed with talent both at home and in diaspora..
Top notch players will be involved in the screening exercise for the world cup..
As far as I am concerned. Maybe Alampasu has lost his place to Enaholo.. The guy is a top goalie..
I repeat no favourite with Manu garba..
Only your present form keep you in the team..
Shalom
It will be nice if Siasia integrates some of the Flying Eagles players into his U-23 squad. The likes of Awoniyi, Iheanacho, Mohammed, and one of Alampasu or Enaholo would be great additions to the team.

Watch the host, Senegal play. They have a good team but not effectively coached. If Manu was their coach believe me you would be saying the same thing about Senegal. 'This is a team Africa will never forget'

1. They lost to CIV twice! First in the group stage and then in the final.

2. Caf president was on standby to watch them because it was the opening match. It was his official duty and has nothing to do with interest.

I think their lost have not summed up to 5..both in friendly and competitive matches.. I have been away for a while. I may not be right..
They lost to the Ivorians on the group stages and then in the finals..
Caf president has said that he loves their brand of football.. Yea it was the opening ceremony, but he has publicly declared that he is in love with the Manu garba led lads..
As for the loss, they were just unlucky against the Ivorians.. Sometimes, you can't overlook the importance of a little bit of luck in football..

Can you provide a link that shows where the CAF president said he loves Manu and his boys' brand of football?

President of the Confederation of African Football, Alhaji Issa Hayatou, on Monday paid an inspirational visit to the Intercontinental Hotel abode of the U-17 National Team of Nigeria, during which he encouraged the Golden Eaglets to set a tournament record by winning a fourth world title here in the United Arab Emirates.

Hayatou, in company with CAF 2nd Vice President, Almamy Kabele Camara, and FIFA Executive Committee member, Mohamed Raouraoua, praised the resilience of the Nigerian youngsters especially in the quarter final duel with Uruguay on Saturday.“You have displayed a high level of skill and intelligence in this tournament that we have not seen in an African team for a long time. I am not surprised at your progress here because I saw you at the CAN U-17 Championship in Morocco and I was highly impressed. “I am particularly excited with your performance against Uruguay, despite missing a number of injured players. I believe you are already in the final. The African football family is fully behind you,”Hayatou said.

The African football supremo also charged the boys to forget Nigeria’s three earlier triumphs in the competition and rather focus on writing their own names in gold.“Yes, Nigeria has won the competition three times before, but that was done by other players. Now, it is your opportunity to write your own names in gold. I believe you have the talent, intelligence and resilience to go all the way.”

President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, who received the CAF President, lauded the visit and assured that the Eaglets are fully motivated to go all out against the Swedes in Tuesday’s semi final at the Rashid Stadium in Dubai.“It is a huge honour to have the CAF President visit any team in the middle of a tournament, because of his very tight schedule. We are assuring you that our boys are able and ready to do the African continent proud.”

Head Coach, Manu Garba, who calls his boys “great warriors of Africa” said Hayatou’s visit is a massive motivation and the Eaglets cannot fail Africa at this stage. “We will take our remaining challenges in the tournament one at a time, starting with the semi final against Sweden on Tuesday evening.”
