[s] noblezone:[/s] I thought you are going to be APOLITICAL with your argument, but its unfortunate. The question for you is how do Almajiri students proceed further in their educational career? e.g Primary -Secondary -University. Where is the future for Almajiri students, why not create Basic primary schools. The Almajiri System of Education in Nigeria should be abolished. http://www.gamji.com/article5000/NEWS5956.htm |

GBTYO:I dnt care. As far as I am from Oshogbo, then u are Igbo. Besides, we have just three main tribes in Nigeria, Hausa Igbo and Yoruba. So, whether u decided to cut and divide ur side into OSU, south south, south under, south within and east up, I dnt care. As for me, anybody that is not Hausa or Yoruba is Igbo. |

SLIDEwaxie:For several years, political leaders from the North, have ignored the Almajeri menace! From councilors to House Members, from Commisioners, to Ministers, Reps to senators, Technocrats to Heads of State, Elders to Elder states men, all had never imagined that the Almejiris need to go to school! Their Governors use state funds to build mosques and sponsor pilgrimages, and if they give scholarship, it will be on Islamic and Arabic studies! It a took a great mind and a visionary leader to pay attention to those kids! You may not like Jonathan sir! It is your business and not mine! But to deny the Possible, but Powerful Positive Impact of the Almajeri schools is nothing but mischief! Whether you like it or not, Jonathan has set in motion the system that will address the injustice meted on the Northern children by their fathers and leaders! Give honour to whom honour is due. |

All u tanoids do is post 3d graphics for twitter say the roads don finish. Power nko? The hat wearing mofo had spends thrice the amount any other President had spent on power yet, e never bad rish ds level then. Where the motion dey? The student wey he use score political point give scholarship for Russia, u dey sleep wen the student dey cry for hunger? As far as I am concerned, only the states pay minimum wage. The mofo dey owe federal workers o. Na motion be dt too abi? Information bill was passed, but shey he agree make his gf for nnpc come give report of auditing? You might be fooled, but we are not. emmatok:I checked your link and saw you are actually ignorant! Let me educate you a bit! In the north, you have Islamic teachers (Mallams) who run Almjeri "schools"! Fathers bring their sons from tender ages to this mallams. They are thought the Koran and Islamics studies. Then they are sent out to go and beg on the streets (as a sign of humility). That is the system the writer is talking about!!!! Jonathan came up and suggested they should abolish it, leaders of the North kicked against it! so Jonathan decided to adjust the system! 1. build class rooms. 2. Give them uniforms 3. Feed them (stop them from begging) 4. Introduce other subjects, (English, Maths, arts, science) In other words, Jonathan's Almajeri school is like Primary Schools that offer basic education! What we want is result and not definitions and names. That is a revolution! Do your research very well sir. I am sorry for being political, it is my genes! |

SLIDEwaxie:Ontisha Bridge: Bridges are not built over night sir. Roads: OBJ (the latest "change" agent) had two terms in office and the Benin Ore road, remained a death trap, Jonathan has done it. Power: It was still OBJ that spent Billions on Power with nothing to show: Jonathan has merely put the power industry in the hands of Privae investors. Whether you like it or not, it is a matter of time. The rest of your points are too sentimental for my comments. Our economy is growing despite insurgency. It is time for you to become creative or you can sit down and rant. |

noblezone:What do you mean by Jonathan's Almajeri school ? Almajeri school is Almajeri school no difference. What GEJ did is a sign of VINDICTIVENESS against the North. He is simply saying if the north want poison(Almajeri school) he will give them the poison(Almajeri school). |

emmatok:I dont know where you were! But Jonathan's first approach was to abolish the system! The so called Northern leaders said never!!! If he was vindictive, he would had allowed them to be. What did he do? Take his dream of educating those unfortunate and exploited kids to their door steps. Bros, the strategy is working! With the schools, they will stop begging. They learn other things apart from Islamic and Arabic studies,. Now, if you want who will abolish the system completely, speak to Buhari, IBB, Abdusalami, Atiku, Ango Abdulahi, governors of the affected states, etc. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/04/almajiri-education-modern-gang-up-against-ancient-tradition/ |

jdilight:How I wish it is mere insults! Have you seen how they have tried to make Nigeria ungovernable? Before the elections, we told them Jonathan was going win because of two major reasons: 1. The middle belt now prefer to align southward than northward 2. the south south and the south east have entered into an unwritten alliance. then we warned of violence in the North because of the anger and mentality. Blood has been flowing till then! The innocent are slaughtered for no reason in the name of politics. Fro declaring a state of emergency in the North, the "progressives" (including Buhari) accused Jonathan of declaring war against the North! Do not think this matter has ended! Well, some of us are doing what we can to bring change! Offering what we have in order to make tomorrow better!. Send me a mail: noble_concepts@yahoo.com. We can take it from there. Once more I appreciate your patronage. |

It is unbelievable that Fashola could say that. The pains that lagosians pass through under his administration is unimaginable. He has no feelings for the poor. But whoever hates good things will never live to see such in his life.Fashola is a wicked being. |

noblezone:OBJ didn't spend invisible billions on power. First, thank God ur clueless GEJ recommisioned one of the already commissioned power station in olorunsogo. Second, have u forgotten that Yar adua stopped OBJ's electrical contract to a Chinese company to probe it only to reapprove it again after seeing it was genuine. I repeat, the billions GEJ spent was a monster to the mice others has spent. Second, abt the economy, what foolish economy doesn't allow a good living unless u are into politics? Yeye dey smell Oya, talk another one. |

Fashola is a product of LIES AND DECEIT. So he is only manifesting his gene. PAC stands for nothing but LIES. The evidences abounds. |

SLIDEwaxie:I have never worked for any Government be it Local, State or Federal I have no ambition to work for any Government, be it Local, State or Federal. I have no ambition to join politics. i have never attended any rallies. I have only voted twice i my whole life. (Dont think I am that young) After he NYSC (several years ago), I did 5 months internship with a guy in Abuja, then after writing a few applications, I went solo. I am not complaining bro. It is all in your mentality! I wake up each day with great opportunities staring at my face! I am currently sowing seeds that will germinate dollars. So if Dollar hit N500 tomorrow, I will only smile. The job of government is to work in the macro economy: For example, create the atmosphere for the automobile industry just like Jonathan did, then creative minds like Innoson will tap into the opportunities. I agree that politics and government as it is played here is nothing to write home about, but you see, my destiny is not tied to Jonathan or Buhari! Thats my mentality bro. Somebody has called on me for political leadership but I know myself, for I cannot fit in! For example, why do we have two chambers at the National Assembly? One will just be fine. Two is too expensive. why should we have Minister of Agriculture, then Minister of State for Agriculture? If the minister of Agriculture cannot do the work, he should resign. The current concurrent expenditure in our national budget is a shame!: If I find my way there, I will prune the work force, retain only the creative and productive ones that are needed. The rest must go, think, creative an produce or have a party with hunger. Am I wicked? hahahahaha! No sir I am not! I am against the current educational system that robs of creativity and productivity and give us papers called certificates. The bane of our economy are the educated ones. The"illiterates" are to some extent fending for themselves. We are on this earth to work. And work is when we solve problems. There are opportunities bro. Problem is this: Every eye sees opportunities but not every eye that recognize them. Opportunities have one problem is common, they wear "coveralls". Unfortunately, you have been brainwashed in school that life is sweet only on "white collar". Am I saying you should push barrow? No sir, but I cannot understand why our Engineers are bankers. Agricultural Scientists are Receptionists. Etc. You need a change of attitude. if you think you need mentoring, send me a mail: noble_concepts@yahoo.com I wish you well, from the debt of my heart. |

noblezone:So you know the GEJ himself is not comfortable with the Almajiri educational system. Why is GEJ now building the same system he is not comfortable with? And who you Almajiri will keep them outta school, when the curriculum is still the same. |
| Re: Almajeri Schools "Waste": An Open Letter To Fashola. by Nobody: 5:18pm On Mar 14, 2015 |
emmatok:Before Jonathan, the curriculum of the Alamari schools covers Islamc, Koranic and Arabic studies! now, there is a reinvention! They now learn arts, science, general studies just like normal schools. Also, they are no longer on the streets begging. that is the difference. He wanted to abolish the whole system, but northern leaders refused. Would he allow them to continue like before? No, he found a way round it. Mister, Jonathan is not the problem! Als |

noblezone:it is a pity u almost sounded intelligent, but u mucked it all up by thinking I was benefiting by being a govt worker. My destiny is neither tied to any one, but that doesn't stop me from seeing the foolishness in praising a failed system. If u are feeding fat from the misappropriations and mismanagements of thus inept govt, that is fine. But undstnd dt not many have ur opportunity, and they needed a sound environment to strive. Stop looting Nigerians and stop ur holy attitude I dnt care if u gain from naira being a thousand dollars to a dollar , I care abt the masses feeling the impact of the myth surrounding the economic boom. Pls, undstnd, dt I am never an active politician, and I dnt belong to any political party. We all knw things are done wrong, let's stop the tribal sentiment and do the right thing. I didn't say buhari will be the change, but Jonathan isn't and cannot because the corruption in his cabinet is appalling. Now, if that is checked against bbuhari's no nonsense attitude, then buhari is a better devil. |
| Re: Almajeri Schools "Waste": An Open Letter To Fashola. by Nobody: 10:04pm On Mar 14, 2015 |
SLIDEwaxie:Did I sound holy? Please I am not and sincere apologies if I did. Fact is, I am not. Please, how do mean I should stop looting Nigeria? Did you see where I said, I have never worked for any government? And I have no intention to? I don't do government contracts bro, so how would I be a beneficiary of loots? Did you mention opportunities? Well, I don't have opportunities in that sense. the last application I wrote, I was asked to put my state of Origin at the back of the application envelop. I did submit it, but that was the last. Trough self education, (not from the so called four walls of the university), I have learnt how to create my own opportunities!! Feel my pulse bro, everyone us have opportunities staring at us daily, but we many do not see it. They are waiting of manna to fall from the skies. It is time we tel Africans the truth! We have become lazy minded, waiting the so called good job with fat salaries. If that is your idea about opportunities, count me out. The masses will feel the impact of the economy directly proportional to the impact they are making on the economy. I have no sympathy to those who chose to be lazy! There opportunities, great and very many opportunities. but the kind of education we got has blinded many to see these opportunities. I hereby make you an offer! If you are concerned as I am, do something for the ignorant. organise for an Opportunity/Success seminar/workshop, I will be glad to come and offer what I have. once more send me a mail: noble_concept@yahoo.com Mind you, we are both concerned, only that we see it from different perspectives. Jonathan is a change agent. I ve got the change I need. |
