Barring any last-minute rigging exploits by the ruling party PDP, I think it's abundantly clear that they lack the requisite numbers/metrics to win the upcoming Presidential poll, hence their last-minute scramble to engage the services of questionable pollsters to boost the battered morale of their ardent followers. Now, I am of the opinion that the PDP does not expect to win the upcoming Presidential election for the following reasons: (1) The PDP has done everything possible to promote the sack, and discredit the person, of Prof. Jega as a biased umpire. (2) The PDP has been clear about its opposition to the use of PVCs for the upcoming elections (3) The PDP has been clear about its opposition to the use of Card Readers as authenticators in the upcoming elections. In light of the aforementioned, I find it rather ..curious(?) that the same party with such GRAVE reservations about the credibility of INEC can paradoxically boast of winning the upcoming Presidential poll. I see this as a clever attempt to cover their bases in the likely eventuality of an impending loss.I hereby postulate that the ruling PDP knows it will likely lose the upcoming Presidential election and is preparing to contest its unfavourable outcome by citing the earlier stated reservations as grounds for the rejection of the results. Here I stand. ![]() |

Whenever I hear Fani-Kayode asks how Buhari intends to punish Tinubu, whom they perceive to be corrupt, when he becomes the President, I know PDP is aware of its impending defeat. Sai Buhari. |
