In order for me to arrive at this conclusion that will be presented shortly,i will want you to know that this was done as a survey both using responses and perception of various people both on social medias and the populace.

1. Ethnicity(represents 55%)

The majority of Nigerians pledging for the support of the major contenders of the 2015 election,General Mohammad buhari and President Goodluck Jonathan,are doing so because they are tribe related.

The tribe relationship does not end with the candidate themselves,but also the party members and vice-presidential candidates.

The people in this section,even if the incumbents make the power situation in the country to be 24hrs uninterrupted before march 28 and unemployment reduced to 2% they will still chose their tribal interest,this has been the case in Nigerian elections,and when you refuse to see from their angle,they will tag you as one that is against the growth of Nigeria.

2. Religion(represents 35%)

some people may decide on self-denial,but even the major contenders know this,and that is why GMB in every political gathering will always try to tell Nigerians that he doesn't have any plan to islamize the country.

3. Performance (represents 10%)

This factor have been able to convince some people that don't want to be beclouded by tribal bigotry and chauvinism, or religion fanatism,but they have looked into the previous performaance of both candidates and have decided based on this factor.

The people from the south-east and south-south try to paint a picture of better performance by GEJ in the seaports,airport,University establishment and 2nd Niger bridge in progress as their major reason of supporting GEJ but some people in the south-west believe they are only doing so because of Ethnic interest. The south-west is believed to be a strong battle ground for the election since the party chairman is from there and this has been the major reason why GEJ has always been seen there trying to win the votes of the people.

You may not be too sure, though this is a faceless forum. The propagandas and allegations of APC has gone a long way,into some peoples thought.

The situation that have caused Nigeria to be filled with unemployment and different arrays of problem since 1960 has been heaped on Jonathan.
