Utter rubbish get a hold of 13 years of Nigeria military rule that book will solve your ignorance. Dude you fall for the re-basing hogwash too. Dude your economy is in shambles after elections you guys will know the damage this administration has done on the economy. On religion we know the guys going up north to say osibanjo wanna Christianize Nigeria while they come down south to sell the Islamization lines. Who was the petroleum minister when the warri and kaduna refineries were built? Irrespective of you trying to twist the fact, it was on record that buhari led the army that chase maitainsine beyond our borders to chad.
Bro, just a little clarification before I move on...All the evidence including newspaper publications has been circulating in this forum for long...anomini and agabal23 can help you with some....

1)Buhari signed and started export of crude abroad and import of refined petroleum back into country as head of state...

2)Our railway collapsed under buhari as head of state...

3)Out of the 75,000 graduates under buhari as head of state; 70,000 were unemployed...

4)Corruption did not reduce rather he was jailing preceived enemies in the name of fighting corruption...eg Jokolo & Awwal confirmed corrupt practises were not reprimanded even for a second but fela was in jail for legitimate earning of dollars brought home...

5)Buhari used physical and brutal force to control price of goods and services as against basic economic principles known to any student....

6)Private companies and industries closed down because of his myopic and unfriendly business directive and policies hence unemployment and starvation grew...

7)Buhari enforced retroactive laws to kill youths just to get back at perceived hostile ethnic group...

coolBuhari campaigned against his country as head of state in OAU just because a Fulani man from Niger republic was contesting too...

9)Maitasine existed only in few villages less than a local government and their major weapon was bow and matchet but boko haram is in 3states using bombs and other sophisticated weapons and technology.... Do they seem same to youhuh....

10)Several governments before buhari fought Maitasine...the group wasn't eliminated but was suppressed... Mind you, everybody supported buhari's clampdown on maitasine but buhari, APC, and borno & northern leaders didn't support Jonathan's clap down on boko haram hence the numerous sabotage of his efforts...

11)Finally, outside RELIGION and ETHNICITY, there's NO OTHER SINGULAR reason why the northern masses cum almajiri are supporting buhari....

Merry Sunday....

Most of you guys on nairaland are stark illiterate and uncivilised. The government at all levels in nigeria has made life miserable to her citizens to an extent that holidays and vacation are chaired to the super rich while masses are struggling to earn just a day meal talkless of travel abroad to see spheres of civilised society. Having said that, UK is country where police doesn't read meaning to whatever manner of policing professionalism in as much everybody is save at the course of carry out society security. The reverse is the case in animal Kingdom here where politicians will be vehicles in multi dollars bullet proof cars with thousands of policemen, causing traffic jams and nuisance to innocent commuters. I have lived in England for years I haven't seen where prime minister and politicians are being siren and massively convoy like our looters polithievians in Nigeria. I think these people concerns need to sink their pride if we are really democracy society where egalitarian can be well proportioned.

.
.
Am told not to waste my MB on you.... You've been brainwashed....
.
.
Did you really comprehend what the book said at all? The 13years of Nigeria military rule.
.
Did u read the part it said that...ever since Nigeria got her indecency! That GEJ is the FIRST civilian president?.... Why should a democratic country be ruled by former military officers?
.
.
Listen...let me tell you something you don't know... Nigeria is a country richly endowed with natural resources and high quality human capital is yet to find its rightful place among the comity of nations. A major reason that has been responsible for her socio- economic stagnation is the phenomenon of corruption. I stand on the groud that political leadership and corruption has always been interwoven and it is against this background that it explored the corrupt tendencies of the political leadership class amongst this leaders includes Buhari and other past military leaders in Nigeria since 1960.
.
.
Buhari is corrupt and he's not coming back to make amends!... He's a sharia keeper which you're quite certain! And can affirm this standpoint!... Buhari is a Tribalist... Corruption didn't just start in GEJ's regime....it was there even in Buhari's regime...
.
.
The military regimes coupled together had always battled with the Nigeria economy! Yet GEJ's regime had broken a record! Let's forget about the standard comparism of our currency with dollar... Its crystal clear that America is angry with Nigeria especially GEJ for not trading with them!
.
.
Again, on corruption...Before we speak, we should find n use facts not literature. I just got shocked by a journalist who claims GEJ gave up Bakassi......so disappointed cos even my little princess know who gave up Bakassi!!! And he that gave bakassi to cameroon was/is a very corrupt past military head of state...and now supporting Buhari...with one mind of embezzling the Nigerian fund...
.
.
The saint you're upbraiding against....is the man with a good heart... Leave sentiments and tribalism aside... Deep down you know that... Insurgency, corruption, unstable economic...had been the cry of this country since 1960 even when Buhari had ruled...he didn't changed it...so he should let GEJ do his best and after this tenure...he can come and change everything....
.
.
Our Northern brothers aren't in support of a south-south ruling for 10years... Adding up every tenures..GEJ will rule for 10years as a president... I don't think people are in support of it... They just leave the good things he has done and focused on his flaws as if they're saint themselves!....just to demonize this administration!

SanTAN @ work

That was just a protection by UK police Men

Chia PDP SanTAN can lie .

Here is the true side of the story Pls read and share

The All Progressive Congress, APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari has been booed by some APC protesters in Chatham House, United Kingdom where he delivered a speech affirming that he was ever ready to continue with the scuffle for power.

This is coming up days after he made his controversial trip to the United Kingdom.

It was learnt that Buhari arrived at the venue of the event in the company of some prominent APC supporters including former Lagos governor, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the party’s national chairman John Odigie Oyegun, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State as well as former Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi.

However, thins took a new turn when some apparently angry persons tried to stone him outside the venue.

But for the timely intervention of some security personnel who whisked him into a police van, Buhari would have been lynched by the raging crowd believed to be Nigerians. The candidate seems to have gotten on the wrong side of quite a whole lot of persons in the diaspora which got them so irked to the point of attempting to hurt him.

From the footage released recently, one of the protesters was heard urging someone to ‘snap the picture’ of the embarrassment which they put the man through.

In the meantime, below is the footage from the incident

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sR_bhFwjvBU

Meanwhile the winning team Pls take note of this.

As you are well aware, the campaign of the APC is centred around you. The ruling party, PDP has deep pockets full of ill-gotten funds and government resources and have used these to buy up the media.

We have YOU.

As General Buhari said at the APC Convention - "I can’t give you a fistful of Dollars or Naira to purchase your support. Even if I could, I would not do so, the fate of this nation is not up for sale."

We urge you to Take Action and help the GMB-PYO Team to victory, by the grace of God, on Saturday March 28, 2015.

We encourage you to make just one phone call to at least 10 people between now and March 28, urging them to vote Buhari/Osinbajo. On Election Day, we also urge you to bring 5 people to your polling unit.

We have tagged this drive " CALL 10, BRING 5".

We must Act Now, the Future of our country depends on every single one of us.

Thank you.

Vote GMB Vote APC

God bless Nigeria
Who go pay for the call? No refreshment for the 5? Oga abeg do the needfull if you no guarantee me stomach infrastructure then you on a long thing but all the same SAI BUHARI. Only Buhari i trust all the others are rogues.

Personally, I come here to relax, learn, unlearn, relearn and promote my candidate; Jonathan based on facts...When I see where he goofed, I don't comment and won't even derail or distort the fact but some see it as their prerogative to distort and derail threads and facts albeit stu.pid.ly...By the time, they bounce on a thread; knowledgeable folks who would have posted informative comments will just bolt away in frustration of the childishness on such threads...

Something is wrong there. The APC presidential candidate was arrested. I know someday, the reason for this will be exposed.
This is very embarrassing & humiliating to say the least. How can a frontline Nigerian presidential candidate be whisked away in such manner?? Is it that the UK police is not aware of who he is or is it part of imperialism. This would deal a deadly P.R blow to the APC brand grin grin

The bolded is exactly what I do. However, whenever I see a person hailing GMB as a messiah or incorruptible, I usually ask them out on a debate and they either chicken out or resort to insult.

They don't just want you to bring up facts demeaning theirs, they want you to swallow all they dish out here, whether true or not, as if we're all zombies. Only robots are programmed like that and we humans will always have different opinions about things and hence we judge with facts rather than swallow political cum and act like dullards.

Everyone wants change but not everyone wants a negative change.
