Pls at what engine mileage does a vehicle start to suffer from fatigue for an I4 engine. The vehicle is a toyota corolla 2004 and it has gotten to 200000km. Is their any noticeable effect i would feel when driving beyond this point. |

ekeochaeke:. 2000000km is equivalent of 125k miles which is still OK. so far ur car is given proper maintainance when due and u avoid Kazeem as much as possible , u are good to go. |

chucky234:  because they are very simple cars.well I have seen a VOLVO car with 400000+ mileage still sound. if you take care of your car well it could last a life time. I mean good cars like Benz, BMW, Volvo, Ford and the likes |

Some cars are reported to have done more than a million miles. The record belongs to a 1966 Volvo with close to 3million miles on the clock! 125k is nothing. Meanwhile, the odometer is not connected to the engine, but final drive. 1 Like |

1st you need to understand that the odometer is not connected to the engine but the wheels. so odometer could run 200k km on 3 engines (replacement one after another packup). 2nd is if your engine is well maintained, it can actually run the body till warn out. 3rd is Volvo av a High mileage Club in Europe where High milage is a pride and you get the 1st badge as a member when your odometer hits 500,000km. so my Volvo V40 2001 is 265,238km and still rocking it. if allowed, I want to drive the car till it hits 1,000,000km. so bros, pls rock your ride on and maintain it well. it can serve for a life time.� 1 Like |
