"Change" Vs "Transformation" - Choose by Pinkybush: 3:39am On Mar 24, 2015
I really wonder why some people are so desperate about a mere shadow "Change", something they have not seen rather than the substance "Transformation" which is visible. They call for a change of ruling party, a change of the person ruling, a change of geopolitical zone that is ruling, etc, rather than supporting the ongoing transformation. Where will this sentiments take us to as a nation?

"I will provide constant electricity in Nigeria" is the oldest scam used by Nigerian politicians grin grin grin

Transformation / change, you will still buy fuel for your generator...every other essential service like health & water would still be provided by you. You would still bribe your LG council to fill the portholes on your street grin grin grin

Vote who you like...accept the choices of other people #votenotfight

Those things are not cause by GEJ, bcuz interms of electricity he has built so many power stations. Atimes those that are controlling government properties intentionally deprive us those things by not releasing them inorder to paint the FG black.

Advantages of presidential systems[edit]
Supporters generally claim four basic advantages for presidential systems:

Direct elections — in a presidential system, the president is often elected directly by the people. This makes the president's power more legitimate than that of a leader appointed indirectly. However, this is not a necessary feature of a presidential system. Some presidential states have an unelected or indirectly elected head of state.
Separation of powers — a presidential system establishes the presidency and the legislature as two parallel structures. This allows each structure to monitor and check the other, preventing abuses of power.
Speed and decisiveness — A president with strong powers can usually enact changes quickly. However, the separation of powers can also slow the system down.
Stability — a president, by virtue of a fixed term, may provide more stability than a prime minister, who can be dismissed at any time.

Criticism and disadvantages[edit]

Critics generally claim three basic disadvantages for presidential systems:

Tendency towards authoritarianism — some political scientists say presidentialism raises the stakes of elections, exacerbates their polarization and can lead to authoritarianism (Linz).
Political gridlock — the separation of powers of a presidential system establishes the presidency and the legislature as two parallel structures. Critics argue that this can create an undesirable and long-term political gridlock whenever the president and the legislative majority are from different parties, which is common because the electorate usually expects more rapid results from new policies than are possible (Linz, Mainwaring and Shugart). In addition, this reduces accountability by allowing the president and the legislature to shift blame to each other.
Impediments to leadership change — presidential systems often make it difficult to remove a president from office early, for example after taking actions that become unpopular.

gists:
Obama said there is no place for violence in election and further went to asked Nigerians to avoid violence before, during and after the elections.
While Jona is busy empowering OPC and other regional terrorist groups. Does any body need more explanations as to who Obama wants us to vote for? Obama even covertly went further to calm the nerves of those still hanging on to the lie that Buhari is an extremist. He said in his closing statement that US will continue to be a friend and an ally to Nigeria.

How come Obama did not say this all along the six painful years of this administration?
He knows we are about to make a significant correction to the error that was made 4 years ago and he is encouraging us that US will continue to be our friend and ally if we make the right choice this time around. So fellow Nigerians, it is up to us!
