I said it after the U17 Cup win that the team should be allowed to transition. We have never lacked talents. These players are not the most skillful Nigeria ever produced but they are certainly one of the best Nigerian teams ever because they are a unit. Coach, players and programs.

Win the World U20 trophy or not, this squad should have been penciled for Rio 2016 and the nations cup 2017 and World Cup 2018 as a complete package gaffer and all. That is what FIFA had in mind when inagurating age grade soccer. It is all about the future.

If and only if the NFF has the courage to rid with the old and in with the new on a continual conveyor belt basis, then we can indeed win the world cup some day,

If I was in-charge of NFF policy it will be all long-term. Build your team from the floor and stick with that team through the ranks. Nothing like Junior team coach, senior team coach with entrenched diabolical philosophies. No coach/player bust ups because you are a 'true father'. If the likes of coach Keshi had started at the U17 level I bet he will have been much better. Manu Garba has shown he has what it takes to make it at the highest level of the game and my dream is to see him and his team there....only if the NFF has the courage to.

We have quality players scattered all over the country. We also have quality players scattered all over the world, we just need scouts to discover them. The great Finidi George was found in Malta..
I personally know a guy who can Marshall Nigeria midfield. He is a great dribbler, passer of the ball, takes free kick and crosses well and he is very intelligent in the field of play.. You can hardly stop him from playing his game. Just with the way he holds the ball, you will know that he is a baller. Aside that he is a genius academically..
No player is indispensable.. At a point in time, Bernard Bulbwa use to Marshall Manu Garba U17 midfield, you saw that goal of his that silenced the Senegalese.
