Damasak kidnap tracker:


- 5 days ago the New York Times reported that Chadian and Niger troops had liberated Damasak a town held by Boko Haram in Bornu state. It reported that the Army head of Chad and the Foreign Minister of Chad were begging Nigeria to come and occupy the town so they can leave.

- 2 days later: Major General Olukolade responded by saying that the Nigerian Army will not join issues with the government of Chad and Nigeria

- On the same day Gen Olukolade made the statement, the government of Chad and Niger withdrew from Damasak for the Nigerian army to occupy it, but no one took responsibility to occupy it.

- Yesterday, Reuters reported that about 506 girls and kids have been abducted by Boko Haram from Damasak and in the raid Boko Haram killed about 50 people. Several eye witnessess have corroborated this claim.

- Today, not a single word from our president or any one in government (Chibok De ja vous?)

- So far Media that has reported this news include - Huffington Post, Reuters, ABC News, Saharareporters, International Business Times, RT news among others.

- By tomorrow we expec all mainstream media to catch on the news - CNN, FOX, CBS, BBC et al. If this is true this will be largest scale kidnapping in the 21st century.

We will keep tracking these events. So far we do not have a leader!
