I will Make Nigeria ungovernable, who actually made that statement? It was said by a PDP politician, Alhaji Lawal Kaita. He actually said Nigeria would be ungovernable if Jonathan became president in 2011. Alhaji Lawal Kaita is still a PDP member and still wax strong in PDP. Presently he was appointed a member of reconciliation committee setup by PDP. Don't be deceived, I have never at any occasion made such statement. FACTS TO NOTE: 1. Major General Muhammadu Buhari never said he will make Nigeria ungovernable in 2011 in any format. 2. It was a PDP politician, Alhaji Lawal Kaita who actually said Nigeria would be ungovernable if Jonathan became president in 2011. [Still a PDP G'master] 3. It was Jonathan’s media spokesman, Reuben Abati who sat down and largely concocted the slanderous libel against Buhari’s name in April 2011. 4. General Muhammadu Buhari took Reuben Abati to court for damaging his name. 5. The Jonathan Presidency begged Major General Buhari to settle the case with Reuben Abati and the Guardian Newspaper out of court. 6. General Buhari obliged and settled out of court. Reuben Abati with The Guardian Newspaper published an unreserved apology to Gen. Buhari in the Guardian of 11th July, 2013. 7. Late General Azazi referred to the PDP “ungovernable” crises and anger that did actually lead to Boko Haram terror franchise hired by the PDP. Azazi said, Boko Haram is a creation of the PDP. you can still do more research on this. 1 Like |

.Cluelessness is when your govt generates $488b in 5 yrs almost the same as $494b generated by Abacha,Abdulsalam,Obj and Yar'adua in 16yrs with 1.5% inflation and nothing concrete to show for it.......Stupidity is when you said "Boko haram is in my govt",spent $23.4b in 5yrs,killed over 30,000 souls, borrowed $1b last year (when your budget for security in that year is $6b)only for Niger,Cameroon and Chad to HELP in chasing out the terrorists.........Nonsense is when your govt says we can't afford new trains with over $12b expended on rail system and Ethiopia spending just $490m to buy new trains using electricity.......Retardeen is when GEJ spent $15.3b in 6yrs and ($34.3b in the last 16yrs)on power with supply still hovering around 4,000MW when China in 8yrs built and generates 22,500MW from hydro power with $26b and Colombia 400MW with $390m in 4yrs......Confusion is when you build substandard rail gauge(Enugu-PH)and got derailed in less than 2 months, similar with Lado fly over of Kano which lasted for just 72 hrs after commissioning with cracks........Perfidy is when police Pension scam, immigration mess, fuel subsidy,Oduah gate,Lawal farouk scandal,NNPC scam etc amounting to $69.3b occurs without a soul being punished.........Ole and Barawo is when GEJ gives each oba in the west $250,000 as campaign bonus when price of fuel is down and FR/ECA is empty........Useless is when you met a naira to a dollar @N141 and now N225........Condemn Criminal is when you met $48b in your FR,$62b in your ECA whilst price of crude sky rocket in the world for the first time in 80yrs and today there is less than $20b in our FR and just $2.2b in our ECA.I rather vote for Buhari than this Otuoke boy.THIS IS PART 1 IN MY SERIES.... |

This is absolutely the first and probably the last before the presidential elections that I would be commenting on the elections. I whole heartedly endorese the candidature of GEJ not because his reign has been flawless and devoid of lapses and inconsistencies, but abeg for those of you than can still remember the aljazeera interview of GMB, after killing defenceless & innocent people on the streets of Kaduna, when asked about what he thinks about the outbreak of the post election violence, he said the people were fighting because they feel cheated about the outcome of the result, and decided to take to the streets. Now, even if he had substantial proofs about that, is that the best response you could offer to the media about the killings of the people you supposedly intend to rule? How does the killing of the innocent justify your being cheated sir? & how sure are we that the people killed did not even vote for him sef? That's not to say I am doubting his credibility and ingenuity o,but if my life doesn't mean jack to him, so does my vote, so on this ground o, I decide to use this thumb of mine to vote for GEJ, & go down on my knees and pray to God whose got the final say. Hav a happy voting Naija! a friend wrote this on Facebook .... |

This evening, some group of Hausa boys were passing in front of my gate and shouting sai Buhari! littering the whole close with termite infested brooms...I started shouting sai Jonathan! No vacancy in Aso Rock!...immediately they turned aggressively, speaking Hausa with so much anger and pointing at me but they were shocked when I began to challenge them without fear and pointing my PDP umbrella at them,I told them I was not afraid and that I know they are carrying daggers underneath their clothes...bastards!! |

sammyjay3: you can check Muhammadu Buhari pass record also... Northern Counter Coup of July 28, 1966 In July 1966 Lieutenant Muhammadu Buhari was one of the participants in a coup led by Lt-Col Murtala Muhammed that overthrew and assassinated Nigeria's first self-appointed military Head of State General Aguiyi Ironsi who assumed leadership of the Nigerian government after a failed coup attempt on January 15, 1966 which overthrew the elected parliamentary system of government of independent Nigeria (also known as first republic). Ironsi's assumption of Nigeria's leadership was technically another coup following the January 15, 1966 coup. Other participants in the July 28, 1966 coup included 2nd Lieutenant Sani Abacha, Lieutenant Ibrahim Babangida , Major Theophilus Danjuma, Lieutenant Ibrahim Bako among others. The coup was a reaction to the January 15 coup where a group of mostly Igbo led by Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu overthrew the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. Many Northern soldiers were aggrieved by the murder of senior politicians, Prime Minister Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, northern regional premier, Ahmadu Bello, and four senior officers, Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari, Colonel Kur Mohammed, Lt-Cols Abogo Largema and James Pam.[13] The counter-coup was very bloody leading to the murder of mostly Igbo officers. Among the casualties were the first military head of state General Aguiyi Ironsi and Lt Colonel Adekunle Fajuyi, the military governor of the Western Region. The December 31, 1983 Coup The Nigerian Military Coup of December 31, 1983 was led by a group of senior army officers who overthrew the democratically elected government of President Shehu Shagari. Participants included Majors General Ibrahim Babangida and Muhammadu Buhari, Brigadiers Ibrahim Bako, Sani Abacha, and Tunde Idiagbon. Major General Buhari was appointed Head of State by the conspirators. Details Ibrahim Bako (then Director of the Army Faculty at the Armed Forces Command and staff College, Jaji[3]) and acting GOC 1 Mechanised Division, Kaduna[4] was tasked by the coup conspirators (see below for list of conspirators) with arresting President Shehu Shagari presumably after Shagari's Brigade of Guards had been neutralized (without violence as planned) by Col Tunde Ogbeha. Author Max Siollun notes that Bako was chosen for the arresting role because Bako's father was a personal friend to Shagari. Unknown to Bako was the fact that the coup plot had leaked to President Shagari whose guards were on high alert. After arriving at the Presidential residence (in non military attire) with an armed detachment to arrest the President,[5] Bako was shot dead, while sitting in the passenger side of a UNIMOG utility truck,[3] in an ensuing fire fight between troops from Bako's detachment and the Brigade of Guards soldiers under the command of Captain Augustine Anyogo.[6] The UNIMOG utility truck that Bako was killed in is on display at the Nigerian Army Museum in Zaria, Nigeria. The senior military officers involved in the 1983 coup were: Major General Muhammadu Buhari* (General Officer Commanding, 3rd Armored Division, Jos) Major General Ibrahim Babangida (Director of Army Staff Duties and Plans) Brigadier Ibrahim Bako (Brigade Commander) Brigadier Sani Abacha (Commander, 9th Mechanized Brigade) Brigadier Tunde Idiagbon (Military Secretary, Army) Lt Colonel Aliyu Mohammed (Director of Military Intelligence) Lt Colonel Halilu Akilu Lt Colonel David Mark Lt Colonel Tunde Ogbeha Major Sambo Dasuki (Military Assistant to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt-General Wushishi) Major Abdulmumuni Aminu Major Lawan Gwadabe Major Mustapha Jokolo (Senior Instructor, Basawa Barracks - Zaria) Major Abubakar Umar |
