In Rivers State, election observers say a ballot box has been snatched.

The ballot box was snatched at Ward 7 Unit 7 in Bugama.

It was forcefully taken away by unidentified persons.

Rivers State had been identified by many civil society organisations as a flashpoint for violence.
The pre-election period was embroiled in pockets of violence culminating in an allegation by the State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that he was shot at.
