We've seen candidates say things against each, we've heard of members of rival parties exchange blows. What we haven't heard is marital discord over rival political candidates.

Not until now.

Ikenna Ohaegbulam, a Buhari (APC) supporter, came on Twitter to express his pain when he discovered his wife voted Jonathan (PDP).

Hehehe.. for better or for worse.

I once posted a topic related to this situation last week. I feel regardless of your political inclination, your family members are entitled to still vote for their choice. The fact that the husband has his candidate for whatever reason does not mean the wife and children must follow same. In my opinion, this gentleman has only decided to make it an issue just because he wants to exercise his superiority as the head of the house but truth be told, that should not apply in this case. INEC did not issue PVC family by family. It was done on an individual basis. Hence, everyone is entitled to vote their choice.

It goes the other way too, the wife could feel betrayed that the husband voted against her choice.

Me too but sticking to the main subject matter, I still feel everyone has the right to cast their vote for the preferred candidate...

I used to say "I'd rather live in a country with failed economy than a country where I cant carry my bible" However, now I believe whoever wins, God wins!!! He knows the end from the begining, let His perfect will be done.

Something similar happened in my PU yesterday.....the wife was still adamant to vote GEJ while the hubby was still trying to convince her to vote Buhari. It was very interesting listening to them...both speaking Igbo and intermittently adding English.

In as much as the wife has her sole right of choice of candidate.... I understand d husband's sentiment, the suffering in this country is too much to withstand wickedness of leaders and allow it's continuity,he shld hav had a healthy argument with d wife b4 28th, plus he ain't got to worry... GMB is sure to win.

Sorry to say, I don't think your argument holds in this instance. Come to think of it, what if the husband had wanted to vote for GEJ and the wife wants GMB...We all know we want a change but what do you expect the wife to have done in this case.

How can you lose trust for your wife over polithiefcians who never say what they mean and will never mean what they say? Polithiefcians don't have loyalty and trust in their dictionary and yet a foolish man wants to lose trust for his wife over these thieves.

Mature men keeps their family together and only a weakling like this man tears his family apart over nothing.
