Make a backup.. Flash another rom and if the symptoms persist..

Hold your fone hardware as responsible but probably firmware ish..

Gaming hard can cause hotness.... 3G MODE most times a probable suspect... Same unnecessary apps can also be responsible...

Troubleshoot your fone first..

Alright then, thnx. Although am mostly on 3G and the hotness is usually when gaming, my only concern is that its frequent and the hotness too hot. grin

Will download another ROM in few days when I renew my glo sub. But I have been ransacking NAIJAWORLD grin

plssss, am getting frustrated aleeady. i bricked my gionee p4 when trying to flash the original stock rom i got from xda. now the phone dosnt even respond to anything n i need a working preloader.bin to flash my phone. pls i ll b so greateful if any1 can upload d preloader.bin for gionee p4 or paste a link here. thanks in advance

bro if it was via sp flash tool you used to flash KitKat

Just use same process but this time flash stock jellybean not stock KitKat

@swisscarter, pls help I don't know why I cannot be able to click on this whenever its needed to do so, am on KitKat, I have tried everything but I can't even when I have to grant permission I cannot be able to mark the box or click open after installing apps. nice one there warlord. Pls I just flashed the popkat ROM and realized I can no longer boot into recovery. Any help?

You should be able to..

Nonetheless download a very small app called QUICK Boot... From playstore...

Open it and click on recovery..

U should find yourself in recovery mode once you have root access

Available RAM space probably..

Move some apps from the internal memory to SD card to free space..

i didnt see any error in mine. i was using a different rom before i re-flashed gionee rom and saw the update, i tried updating it says signature error. after flashing the stock recovery it updated successfully. have u downloaded it? if you have downloaded it try re-flashing it.

Around January.. I download the update... Flashed it. And guess what. It bricked my phone... I had to take it to gionee office.
