I am not quite sure how you reason and I strongly believe because Good-luck is a soft man, that's the reason why this comment below was made. I am not use to the functions on this site and so I may have replied in an incorrect manner of which I ask to be pardoned. I was wondering why you left out the main culprit of Nigeria's downfall IBB from the witch hunt which you seek. President Obasanjo who was not long before Jonathan ripped the country to shreds and handed over power to a hand picked man ie Yaradua who he knew was sick. The elections between Buhari and Yaradua were rigged on a scale that makes Good-luck a saint. President Jonathan deserves credit for his actions in which he handed over power to a democratically elected government. In regards to the insurgency also known as Boko Haram, when you understand the workings of the Nigerian Army from its formation days, you will now that there is a missing gap in its service men which has led to it being weak. After Abach died and Abdulsalami took over and then handed power to Obasanjo, Majority of the extremely experienced servicemen where retired in an attempt to curb the possible event of a coup ever taking place. Most of those who were elevated to the vacated ranks were highly inexperienced and werent in the calibre of those who were major players in the army, i.e Danjumas, etc etc. These knew crop of officers are not men of caliber and could not deal with an insurgency the way someone like Danjuma, Bamaiyi etc would have. In an attempt to ensure a coup never takes place again, the army was unknowingly weakened. A similar example is Iraq where those seasoned generals were either killed with Sadam or forcefully retired and from current events, the new leaders are incapable of dealing with the treat of isis etc. Brimmie: |

All of you vomiting shit in here against Gej may never near the feats he has just achieved. You and your generations to come may remain spectators in games and schemes of things in this country. Take it or leave it Gej is in position to derail this democracy and cause great catastrophe in this country. But as a core gentleman he chose the part of honor. If it was GMB in his shoes would he accept defeat?. I am proud of Gej and will for a long time hold him in high esteem. Gej is a made in heaven president and suits in countries like U.S or U.K and other developed and civilized democracies of the world not the type of do or die and bomb campaign democracy we practice in Nigeria. Gej is a perfect gentleman and wise leaders all over the world are praising him. Now that the grand commander of Bh has taken over after many yes of orchestrated attacks on baboons and monkeys, the onus is on him to show us while he has caused death of thousands of Nigerians. |

Brimmie:Exactly my position you just echoed. Jonathan should be made to face prosecution for criminal complicity in the death of over 15,000 citizens and the many financial crimes perpetrated under his supervision. Credit for electoral reforms should go to Jega who stood his ground and not an opportunistic Jonathan. After all, the PDP which he leads was still against the use of the Smart Card Readers as at Sunday 29th March 2015. |

IBB, Abacha, and many more were crooks on a grand scale. To a certain extent, freedom of speech allowed massive exaggerations of the levels of corruption. I do think the fact that Goodluck has handed power is the greatest act of any Nigerian leader, for prior to him, no leader had handed over power to a democratically elected leader in free and fair elections. Brimmie:Why would you spoil such a wonderful moment by these kind of thoughtless speeches? GEJ deserves it right..If he were mean he could have used Banbangida's style as in during june 12 and claim it to be in the best interest of the nation , so be wise and be a little sensible, purify your heart. Congratulations GMB and Congratulations GEJ for being a thoughtful sportman, may God help Buhary and strenghten him to get us there soonest and may all our yearnings/expectations for a true and prosperous democracy with diligent distribution of wealth to kick out poverty from the land be met. May God bless Nigeria |

coldFLARES1:Bros if you fail to commend GEJ for what he did that means some thing is wrong with you. If you don't have anything tangible to say it is better you don't comment. The status GEJ has risen for the decision he took is higher than being the president the next 4 years. Think man. He has been commended by top leaders and you are here criticizing him. What do you thing will happen if rejects that result? Nothing my brother. People have done it in the past. |

pneme:My Brother, I respect your Opinion. You are more or less making excuses as usual for his Incompetency and Failure. OBJ ruled almost a decade ago. Just like OBJ, GEJ had the Opportunity to be the "Hero", but he is too weak and allowed the "Opportunists" get to him by making his "Visions" non-feasible. If we are to go by his Past, he has always been a Failure! I refused to be deceived by his Looks. We all know how Corrupt he was in Bayelsa. Nigerians were blinded by his name "Luck" and didn't bother to check his Achievements before Voting en masse for him in 2011. I repeat, the circumstances and factors were all against him. He's no Hero! But I commend him. |

A very precise detail about Buhari/Osinbajo's victory at the polls was revealed by a Nairalander in 2013. A dream that details how each events leading to their victory would unfold and it turned out to be absolutely correct. Just like the late Patrice Lumumba of Congo Brazzaville, GEJ, like a tree, has been felled by the axe of America. They need crazy men to stand up to them.America removes whichever government it doesn't like. They are trying it in Venezuela right now. They tried it on Netanyahu, but failed. What he's saying now doesn't fly with people like us.They are the lamb that speaks with the voice of a dragon, bullying the weaker states of the world. |

LewisO:It is unfortunate you don't understand what it means when someone counters your opinion and says "you have no idea" lt simply means you have not seen worse or it's worse than you think As anybody. Maybe l should have used a simpler expression Go to my profile, check my posts on politics and see where l stand in all this So much for magnanimity in victory. |
