I cringe each time I read people saying Jonathan is a gentleman, a true Democrat blah blah.

seriously is he?

This guy tried all the anti-democratic gigs in the book. The only thing that worked against him is the will of the people. nothing can defeat that.

Will a true Democrat run his campaign based on personal jabs , ethnic and religious beefing? we were all told that buhari will turn Nigeria to Islam....

will a true democrat carry out the kind of military intimidation that we witnessed in places like IMO, rivers?

remember the opposition to card reader? massive bribing, voter intimidation,

remember the massive rigging in rivers and Delta state. I served as an APO in Delta state. not up to 40% of voters were accredited. How the he'll did they come up with the over 70% number? even Kano couldn't boast of that.

Remember the PDP consensus candidacy? remember ekiti legislators. remember rivers legislators.

Let me put it this way. GEJ is one of only two incumbent presidents in the history of Africa who lost elections and peacefuly handed over to his opponent. The only other person who did this was Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia. If that doesn't make GEJ a democrat, I don't know what will. Had GEJ wanted to stay in power, he could have easily done that by appointing an INEC chairman who would rig elections. Even after losing elections, he could have challenged the outcome in court.
