I know, but it's affecting majority of my colleagues in Hungary. They can't work there, most of them are have been ejected from their rented apartment and are living with their friends. They depend solely on their parents back home for survival. We in the UK, we can work but others can't.

I was issued with 10 hours working permit instead of 20 hours, although I work. But sincerely my exams are just few weeks from now and I need to put in more effort to get my desired grades
I thought you are studying in an university and not college any more?

I simply made an inquiry and I got the clarification I sought from the important person.
And you fly in with no relevance whatsoever to pick on me, you silly goat.

As in ehn.. I have no idea how soon this issue can be addressed though.
The entire Nigerian system needs revamping. Imagine sending a student abroad on scholarship to receive praises from the masses and not ensuring the successful and convenient completion of the programme.
The full money for their education should have been set aside in some bank account and leaving the bank or a committee to oversee their monthly distribution to the benefactors.
Don't know if they know that such actions are akin to trafficking or slavery.

Leave with a lesson today since you've decided to be brain lazy.
vague /veig/

adj. vagu·er, vagu·est

1. Not clear in meaning or expression.
2. Not thinking or expressing oneself clearly

3. Lacking definite shape, form,or character.
4. Indistinctly felt, perceived, understood,or recalled; hazy
Those are four definitions for 'vague' I gave you. Pick the definition that goes with the noun 'claims' and explain to yourself how that is an insult. undecided

See this one oh! undecided You go carry dictionary for me? I saw a letter there and it was more than enough for me. I don't understand what you meant by vague. What i saw was clear enough for me. If you did not comprehend it ...

Relax.. What you're seeing in frontpage wasn't there at all.
It was just a one-line sentence talking about 'Czech Students not schooling anymore' and a 'vague' topic.
And I called his attention to the fact that he has to give more details for the moderators to understand the importance, which he did and you just saw.
Slow your row.

From what I know, 10billion Naira has been signed in the budget for RSSDA... it's left for the State Government to issue it. I'm also waiting for the same funds, we are almost 300 waiting to get same money to travel to different countries. We all(those abroad and we in Nigeria) need to make the government understand our pain.

Do you understand the topic as presented by the op? These Rivers' Students are on scholarship from the Rivers State Government to study abroad but are yet to be paid a dime (for tuition, upkeep, rent etc) in the last six months. They are not under Federal sponsorship but Rivers State sponsorship.

Do you know how it feels to be sent abroad by your government on aasignment/programme only to be abandoned? The situation is quite different from that in which you leave the country on your own terms with your mind set on hustling to meet your needs since in the first place you knew you have to nothing to rely on?

The Rivers State Government has failed these students. This is not good for our image. I've also heard about some of our female students in Malaysia indulging in illicit sex trade just to raise money to fund the completion of their programmes when I visited that country. Is that what we wish for our Children?

I implore the Rivers State Government/RSSDA to urgently attend to the needs of these Students. If RSSDA can't support our Children, then they shouldn't send them out!

Note: I'm a Rivers indigene and know of some affected students including an in-law.

Are you even serious? think outside the box?...really, so you would tell your eighteen year old daughter to think outside the box, or your 21yr old son to do the same. We did not sign up for this and some visas do not even permit work opportunities. A knowledgeable individual will know that or do you want us to go and disobey the law or commit fraud in another mans country. Is that what ur saying...co I don't get your point at all. Are aware that medical students cant combine work and school under any circumstance cos they are always in school, from 8am to 8pm...the rest of the time is used for projects, presentations, clinical practice and what not, there's no time even think normally, not to talk of outside the box or work. And my able friends that have the opportunity to work are working dual jobs if not more, combined with academics. I am sure you do not have any idea what this really entails and you are clearly speaking from a limited perspective. But please before you sit down and judge next time, get your facts correct.[/quote]
