Study Finds That Children In Polygamous Homes Are Less Intelligent by Jbenue(op):
A 2013 study of Nigerian students, published in the International Journal of Psychology and Counselling, showed that "there is a significant difference in the overall academic achievement of students from monogamous families and those from polygamous families" and "that life in polygamous family can be traumatic and children brought up in such family structure often suffer some emotional problems such as lack of warmth, love despite availability of money and material resources, and disciplinary problems which may hinder their academic performance."

THat explains why our Northern Brothers and Sisters are failing WAEC like dem dey do shoki!!!!!

When u mention north, have u forgotten dat pple in south west also practice polygamy and yet they pass?
I agree to some extent, children from polygamous homes may have more probabiility of failing cos of the large no of chiuldren such dat there's no one to monitor anyone.
U shud have put it more to be children from home where there's little or no monbitoring are prone to failing, not trying to place the blame on polygamy.
