In a sane environ PDP shouldn't even be contemplating contesting for Lagos votes after abandoning and starving it of funds and allcations for.16years. But my fellow countrymen never cease to amase me with their actions.

PDP-led FG starved Lagos of allocation for 16 years? You must be a professional LIAR. Beyond their allocation, FG under Jonathan gave approval for Fashola's recent borrowing, which is giving Lagos a towering debt profile now, even though it initially refused. Even the debts Obasanjo owed Tinubu were cleared by Yar Adua. Please get your facts right.

So Jimi Agbaje wants the Igbos to use their votes to push the Yorubas into the Atlantic. This is what it has come down to, the type of politics desperado JK is operating, turning tribes against each other, in short, anything goes. If that is what he wants, so be it. Let all Igbos vote for Agbaje and let all Yorubas vote for Ambode. Let's see who owns Lagos, a South West state. At this rate any Yoruba that votes for Agbaje is an omo alè (bastard).
APC is not a yoruba, igbo or hausa party, so stop exhibiting your lack of proper understanding of what Jimi said. We know what he said, and Lagosians across ethnic and religious divides are coming out enmass to kick APC out of Lagos. JK we know, JK we trust.

JK is running an ethnocentric campaign in
Lagos.

Wait, how many percentage of Igbos do we
have in Lagos? Is it up to 40 percent?

If he becomes governor, what percentage of
Igbos will be in the house of assembly?
Won't
the Yoruba-House plot his impeachment?

Maybe JK should note that the same
ethnocentric campaign he's running is what
GEJ did too.

Maybe he would be the one to end up in Lagoon! After Saturday Election! KORO ended in Hospital 4 years ago and if Igbos like let them cry more than the berieved! LAGOS can never be igboland! Meanwhile 85% of Igbos in Alaba Mkt and Trade Fair Lagos were in beer parlour ordering for Peper soup and Nkuobi wen voters card registration was on! So how would they use what they don't have?

Agbaje has been brain washed by eze ndigbo in lagos because this is how they supported Jonathan with mouth and yet they let him down! For the ppl crying that Ambode is from Ondo pls let's no where Agbaje hails from!

Nonsense and Nonsense

Ambode would beat Agbaje to COMA come this Sat

And am glad to have a PVC to do this!

Cheeers
Igbos not have pvc as claimed I wonder what Ambode was doing at alaba yesterday.

You can't see the likes of Bode George n Co because they are not credible and doesn't have the good oratory skills
adeoladrg:
Since the day the race started, I started to pay attention to the two candidates. Because I totally knew that the two parties are not the best we have. They both have their flaws.

Ever since then, only one person has impressed me. The only one person seems to understand what governance is about.

Only one person seems to understand the pain of the average Lagosian on the streets.

Only one person seems to understand the pain of the medical doctors. Being a respectable Pharmacist himself.

Only one person seems to understand the pain of the market women.

Only one person seems to understand the pain of the LASU students.

Only one person seems to understand the pain of the tax payers. My aunt paid 8.6 million as tax last year. Her stock isn't up to 10 million. She was crying when she told my mom. I just overheard the conversation and smh.

Lagos is the 137 over 141. The 4th worst state to get a land and build in Africa.

Only one person seems to have a plan to reduce that burden and sustain our economic development.

Only one person is able to speak up for himself. I've not seen Bode George (who just a PDP chieftain anyways) on the campaign train for Agbaje. He does the talking himself. Not pushed around by Fashola and Jagaban.

Only one person chose his Deputy. I'll join APC the day that happens.

Only one person invited Omojuwa (an APC supporter) to anchor his interview session. That day the whole PDP came on his neck, he didn't bulge. That tells you he'll choose his commissioners without Tinubu having to force anyone on him.

Only one person has a plan to install a light rail system.

Only one person has plans to stop Alpha beta. The Tinubu owned company that collects 1 billion out every 10 billion that Lagos State makes. Do your research, thank me later.

Only one person has been involved in activism in politics. He was a part of the concerned professional group that comprised Oby Ezekwesili, Pat Utomi and Co. During the annulment of the election in 1993.

Only one person has the true interest of the people since 1993. Not the accountant that'll continue cooking the books of Lagos for his master.

Only one person is a true Lagosian. A true son of the soil. I watched his biography on YouTube this morning. Link here

www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=3h6x3I8Zams

While I agree that both He and PDP haven't employed the best campaign methods. I said that at the beginning. But only one person has one my vote.

Just one person Jimi Kolawole Agbaje

LAGOS DESERVES A HUSBAND TOO!

Since the return of Nigeria to civil rule in 1999, Lagos has been a troubled spinster for about 16 years since then. Despite possessing the allure and virtually everything a man could wish for in a lady, talk of beyonce's kind of endowment, in full proportions and in all ramifications too, Lagos has pathetically remained the proverbial spinster by virtue of being an opposition state in the political configuration of Nigeria.

What could be wrong with cute Lagos? Why should the most qualified lady, the poster girl of infrastructural development in Nigeria, the most cosmopolitan belle of our time, the paragon of beauty still remain a spinster for 16 solid years? Why? Why? Why? You should ask questions.

True to the saying that the patient dog eats the fattest bone, Lagos' dire search for a befitting husband has come to end with the emergence of General Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria's President-elect. Of all the past Presidents Nigeria has had since 1999, none boasts the credentials of Buhari. Buhari and Lagos; supply meets demand, opportunity meets preparedness. Lagos has found a worthy husband!!!

Let's marry off Lagos to the center. Help Lagos wed Buhari by voting Ambode (APC) as Governor of Lagos State on Saturday April 11. It is the most anticipated wedding of the Year. Don't miss out on this opportunity. It is an open invite. Every one is welcome. An opportunity once lost may never be regained. Lagos should be aligned with the centre so we Lagosians in particular and Nigerians in general can enjoy the impact of the relationship in our lives. Lagos is the melting pot of cultural, tribal, racial and religious diversity. Matter of fact, Lagos is Nigeria and Nigeria is Lagos. It is the place everyone calls home. Everyone is welcome. You can testify to that.

Who was there for you when Ebola struck? Who was there when the Iju Plane crash happened? Who lights up Federal roads at night? Which state is more homely than Lagos in Nigeria? These were questions recently asked by Gov Fashola.

Ask yourself a question: would you like the administrative incompetence demonstrated by the outgoing Fed Govt administration to be replicated in Lagos? Would you like thugs to take over the streets of Lagos and harass motorists-you and me just the way OPC did a few days to the Presidential election of March 28?

If you are still entertaining any doubt, consider the man hours you lose in traffic every day. The 27km Blue line Lagos Light Rail project which will solve Lagos' traffic problems with 13 stations from Okokomaiko to Marina is nearing completion, and will be launched this December 2015 if there's Fed Govt's support. The Eko Atlantic project, the Ilubirin Housing Project, numerous Lagos HOMS residential projects across the length and breadth of Lagos which we are all witnesses to are happening in our time. Do you want to throw away all of these by voting a party that will cancel the projects because if they are completed, the credit will go to APC only because 'it was an APC project'? Let's not retrogress. Lagos must move forward. Please do not leave certainty for uncertainty; let’s not leave experience for experiment.

After the Blue line, the Red line from Alagbado to Marina via Iddo and MMIA will follow. The Green line from Marina to Lekki will come next. The Yellow line from Otta to Iddo next, the Purpule line from Redeem to Ojo, the Orange line from Redeem to Marina, the Brown line from Mile 12 to Marina. By 2017, the whole of Lagos would be serviced by speed light rail. You can keep your cars at home, save repairs and maintenance costs, fuelling expenses and so on and drive you cars on weekends only. Not again will you be waylaid by thugs on the roads at night; no more cases of rapes and so on. These ambitious projects cannot be completed by Lagos state alone. Lagos needs Fed Government’s support. Lagos also needs the FG to part-finance the construction of the 4th Mainland bridge.

If Lagos could achieve so much in the last 16 years despite a string of four (1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011) consecutive heartaches and scuttled wedding proposals, would you want to rob this babe of the golden opportunity to wed GMB (Federal Govt). Let's align Lagos with the center for the first time since 1999. Let's not be caught on the wrong side of history.

There's only one way to ensure all these dreams are actualized. And it is by voting Akinwunmi Ambode, APC for Governor, Lagos State. Vote for the continuity of these projects. Without a doubt, you can tell that this anticipated wedding would be a mutually beneficial and rewarding one for all of us. It would be enchanting bliss all the way.

Come Saturday April 11, come out in droves and thumbprint APC on the ballot. Vote for continuity of the current infrastructural developments that we are are witnessing in Lagos.
Eko o ni baje, is not by rhetorics. If you have ever said it, if you like it, if you desire it, it is time to put it to action. Lagos loves you and will always do. It is your home. It is just unfortunate Lagos has to wed now. And Buhari is the eligible bachelor. Lagos cannot double-date. Let Lagos feel like a woman for the first time in 16 years. This wedding is long overdue.

VOTE Akinwunmi Ambode for Governor of Lagos.
VOTE APC!!!

The Oba of Lagos has really done a good job for Jimi Agbaje. Note that while the Oba was making the alleged anti - Igbo statements, the Igbo leaders who visited the Oba were applauding him in the video and that should tell us that there is more to it. If I am correct, till now, none of the Igbo leaders who visited the Oba has come out to criticise or clarify what Oba really meant. Remember that this same Oba is related to Jimi Agbaje. Besides, after so much pleas from the APC Lagos and National leaders to enable this Oba to endorse Buhari's presidential candidacy during the presidential campaign, he (the Oba) stubbornly refused to endorse. Then how can the Oba become a spokesman for APC?
Nice write up, the Oba is simply working for PDP as Jimi Agbaje is related to him; this most people can't read between the lines! Obanikoro/PDP killed some many people because of elections, Bode George stole 100billion from Nigeria Port Authority using PDP and many people still want yo vote for PDP; Jimi Agbaje is owing millions in tax to Lagos State as per his businesses and people want to entrust their money & faith to these people ( PDP )! I pity many people because almost all the area boys & thugs had a meeting that they should all vote for PDP during the Presidential election & Governorship elections, their candidate lost the presidential elections & they still met & planned to make sure PDP wins the governorship election; I pity any lagosian that votes PDP as you're giving approval for crimes to increase in such a way that you will have to open both your eyes when you sleep & even borrow more eyes when you are inside & outside your homes. I pray that most people reason well before they start crying for God to help as God may delay since you gave yourself out cheaply to PDP.
