This is one of the reason I like this party call APC, there political ideology is far advanced than that pdp. While pdp were working for APC to die when they were ruling, APC ideology as a leading says they wants a formiidable opposition for the strengthening of democracy.

Rather than advise politicians to stop defecting, I think you should instead raise the bar and make the process of defecting to ur party stringent.

PDP to APC requirements:

1. N1b payable to the national coffers (applicant must provide source of fund and prove that it was not acquired illegally)
2. Tax certificate for the last 5 years
3. Asset declaration.

New defectors will be on probation for 2 years pending the determination that they are abiding by the rules and regulations of APC.

That goes along way to further show that Nigerian politicians are just after their pockets.They don't have the interest of the people at heart.In fact they are birds of a feather.
