The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has defeated his closest rival, Barr. Okey Ezea of the All Progressives Congress, APC, with a wide margin.

The result of the governorship election held on Saturday is as follows.

ANINRI PDP 39216, APC 886; ENUGU NORTH PDP 17829 APC 2050; ENUGU SOUTH PDP 15889 APC 16333; EZEAGU PDP 32995 APC 1307; IGBOETITI 211524 APC 2256; IGBOEZE NORTH PDP 51948, APC 2482; IGBOEZE SOUTH PDP 18120 APC 6231.

Others are: ISI-UZO PDP 21651, APC 1813; NKANUEAST PDP 12571 APC 975; NKANUWEST PDP 16683 APC 1148; NSUKKA PDP 41625 APC 9416; OJIRIVER PDP 13484 APC 2394; UDENU PDP 40120 APC 1463; UDI PDP 26892 APC3934; UZO UWANI PDP 17947 APC 1915.

He must outshines Governor Sullivan. Otherwise, APC is by the corner. Nigerians are now more enlightened politically.

I think it is pipe dream or an elephants project for APC to believe they will win in Enugu, it is just like expecting PDP to win in Sokoto. However I expected Apga to give a strong fight which did not materialise.
