Obi wont be able to win beyond Anambra state. Rochas will defeat Obi with a moonslide victory if Obi and Rochas contest the presidency. Rochas is very popular in the north and speak fluent Hausa because he was born and raise in the north. Also the APC factor will help him in the south- west. While the vote in the south east will be divided with Rochas slightly winning. Obi don't standard a chance against Rochas if both represent PDP and APC respectively

Okorocha is the only ibo politician that I know has any national appeal, the others will only win in their region

I pity the Igbos, they don't want to face the realities in politics. if Rochas had succeeded in amalgamating APGA with this ruling party APC when they where registration it, the Igbos would not be left behind. Where is APGA now and where is Peter Obi who rejected the novel idea from the lion of the entire East "Rochas", because of selfish interest he was clamoring for SSG. who is the ideal leader of the Igbo now

For me the race should not be about presidency but about developing the South East.

The North have been in power for many years, The west have also been in power and the South South aswell. This has done nothing significant in the life of the ordinary man on the street from their region ... but to the greedy politicians from that region.

The moment we realize as a nation that the president of Nigeria is not there for his peoples and regions interest but that of the nation in that moment we would move forward.

That is not say having a Igbo person as a president is not a good idea. But he has to earn the respect of his people and that of Nigeria ... and other tribes would have to look beyond their silent hate for the igbo's and vote for him if he is best qualified.

The igbos should not think that because they approves someone that the person is açepted by other regions. The only igbo politician that national acceptance is Rochas, he is the only igbo can gain support accross the country otherwise we shall not support any igbo man for presidency in Nigeria.

Only okorocha can win. He has admirable qualities and a likable character. He also does not play tribal politics. If he transforms his state seriously this term, he will be minister next 4yrs and then he really has a chance after. Though I want to see in my lifetime what Fashola can do as president
