What will become of Amaechi in the coming weeks and months even years is quite unknown to many as we march into the new administration. Amaechi spent a fortune to see to the emergence of the new administration led by Hausa-Fulani- General Buhari. Amaechi hoped to be compensated by at least appointing his successor but that was not to be. Amaechi did very well as a governor when he was in PDP but suddenly he changed gear once he found himself in the midst of gold diggers who offered him Greek gift just to get a hold on his oil allocation. The only reason the APC courted Amaechi was none other than his huge financial war-chest from his oil rich Rivers State. Today, the same people that once courted Amaechi are about to desert him, haven exhausted his usefulness. I see Amaechi falling out with Buhari and Tinubu as soon as this administration takes the mantle from May 29. The huge financial commitment that came from Rivers coffers via Amaechi into Buhari's campaign project is worrisome which will breed crisis if Amaechi is not well compensated, though we do not see him (Amaechi) getting back One Tenth of that. I will sincerely give it to the Lion of Bourdillion- Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu- the Jagaban of Yorubaland, for his bravery, tenacity and above all his ambition even in the very face of 'federal might' and intimidation, he stood his ground and weathered the storm until his party coasted home to victory at the presidential poll. He has distinguished himself as the 21st century leader of the Yoruba nation. Today, Rt. Hon. Dr. Chibuike Amaechi is the greatest looser of this age. It is a lesson for the would be politicians and politicians alike. Welcome to the world of reality Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Abdul Amaechi governor of Rivers State, 2011-2015. General Chino (OFR), writes from Anambra

| Re: Photo: Now That Amaechi Has Lost His Home Front by oneeast(op): 9:15am On Apr 13, 2015 |
He successfully appointed his successor and saw to his victory before leaving unlike Amaechi's who lost with over a million votes to Wike a fellow compatriot. This is capable of breaking Amaechi down.. FreeGlobe: |
| Re: Photo: Now That Amaechi Has Lost His Home Front by Nobody: 9:16am On Apr 13, 2015 |
FreeGlobe:honestly PDP is the overzealous dream chaser here. you can never win Rivers. just watch and see How the tribunals cancels all the kangaroo rigging PDP papatraited. you people are the problem with Nigeria. |
| Re: Photo: Now That Amaechi Has Lost His Home Front by FreeGlobe(f): 9:21am On Apr 13, 2015 |
shachris:even if the courts cancel 500k votes, Wike is still winning, don't you get it? Wike won his opponent with obio akpor LG votes alone. The court will have to cancel Lagos election before cancelling Rivers so you can get a bucket and fill it up with your tears. What were you thinking? Dakuku will win? lol |
| Re: Photo: Now That Amaechi Has Lost His Home Front by texazzpete(m): 9:21am On Apr 13, 2015 |
LOL. Does the OP think Amaechi ever had a major chance of clinching Rivers for the APC? What he has done is to succeed in helping Buhari become President and APC become the ruling party. His power is now at a major high. He will be given a very soft landing at the centre. I'm pretty sure Amaechi would prefer this outcome anyway. OP, why not worry about yourself? Now that the elections are over, how will you sycophants eat? |

oneeast:Amaechi still has federal to fall back on unlike Peter obi that lost everything. Even his successor he "successfully appointed and saw to his victory" |

This picture just surfaced on online where Peterside was sighted telling Amaechi that it is all over, that it is time for him (Peterside) to congratulate Wike. However, Amaechi's response to that effect is yet to be obtained..
