There certain animals that love till death separate them, we human can learn from them

1 pigeon
2 Eagle
3 water turtle
4 penguin

Sure, pigeon should be first on the list.

I remember when I was a kid, I had a neighbor-friend whose elder brother breeds Pigeon a lot. They had a hole at every corner on the roof, they go there inside the roof to sleep.

Many years later, there was a kerosene explosion in the house which later burnt the house totally.
While the house was burning, we saw the pigeons came in the house (the way they do come home in the evenings to sleep), they stayed around in the compound for a while and later flew on the roof and entered their hole. Mind you, the house was burning while these were being observed.

In short, the house got burnt down. And all the pigeons got burnt in the house. Their burnt bodies was found (hundreds of them) when renovation was done.

If I'm right, I think the Yorubas have an adage about the pigeon's loyalty.


Dog should be on that list.

Or maybe d pigeons just weren't wise enough cos they went back to their dwelling, not exactly to their master. And yes, dogs r known to b hard core loyalists to dere masters.
