This is the moment an astonishing seven tons of live catfish spilled from the back of a truck onto a Chinese highway after the vehicle's rear door suddenly popped open.

It is thought the door was jolted open when the truck drove over a bump in Kaili, in the Guizhou province of China.

Fire crews and local residents joined forces to clear up the slippery mess, using hoses to keep the fish wet while they were painstakingly collected in buckets before being transferred into the scoop of a passing digger and then back into the truck.

Amazingly, the whole 6,800kg mess was cleared in under two hours

2hours is eternity compared to how long Nigerians will respond in such cases.

If it were to be in Nigeria, the fish would be cleared in less than 30minutes. Even the ones in the truck wouldn't be spared.

The only thing is that it would be done by the wrong people, who unlike the Chinese in that picture have no intentions of returning the fish back into the truck, but rather feel that their kitchens should be the safest place for the fish.

2hrs of honest response time vs 30 mins of crooked african response time
nothing impressive about looting,anybody can loot
even the chinese would loot in less than 5mins
country where 5-10million population is regarded as small
