And yet he is a senator elect in dis country. If indeed he is innocent, let him clear our doubt by defending himself in US rather than crying foul. |

| Re: U.S. Requests For Buruji Kashamu’s Extradition by emiye(m): 7:40pm On Apr 20, 2015 |
on one hand I feel he shouldn't be extradited, but on a second thought, for him to have the effrontery to contest as a senator in the respected chamber and be elected, I feel the govt should use him as a cheap pawn to gain international credibility leverage, I have first hand info about his dollar parade rain during his campaign, and who knows one day the drug baron will try contesting as the governor of the state. good riddance to bad rubbish. it is a stain on nigerias fabric to have a drug kingpin as a senator. |

lurther:You're right. Also on the other hand if he were to be an igbo man, instead of being condemned like the people from ogun state has been condemning him, what his kinsmen like you will have been writing is, "they are conspiring against the igbos". Is that not? Nepotism is worst............#SayNoToNepotism |

anigold:leave story, and stop comparing Nigeria with USA. Nigeria can not afford the arrogance of USA. USA is the police of the world countries. the national identity that could not manufacture weapons to fight book haram, or is it the national identity that left our crude oil sales in limbo when usa stopped buying our crude oil. do not overreach yourself. |

| Re: U.S. Requests For Buruji Kashamu’s Extradition by emiye(m): 8:08pm On Apr 20, 2015 |
anigold:. displaying arrogance when u are still to a large extent dependent to someone is foolishness. Why I believe there should be no go areas, the govt can easily use the drug Muller to gain international anti corruption credibility self. when the time for arrogance is due , no one will tell us. imagine a whole country giving excuse it could not fight boko haram because USA will not sell arms. If you are not aware, to a large extent, Nigeria is now finding it hard to sell its oil as such giving discounts to entice buyers. |

emiye:You are just well informed at all. Because we are not in the same footing as the US, we should on that basis loose our self respect as a country? The ramification of being weak on the international affect not just kashamu or whatever it is he is called, it affect each an everyone of us. I know countries in Europe, countries such as Denmark, Norway, Finland that stood firmly for their dignity in the face of adversity. No one is comparing Nigeria to the US in any way, the difference is very glaring, but we are a sovereign state and it is on that footing we should relate with any country on sensitive matters such as this one. Again there is no international credibility to be accrued, US dictates who has or does not have credibility, except you are readily accepting that you are a second class rated human to another American does your statement hold any water. |
