Prediction for 2015:
The United States of America predicted that by 2015 our country Nigeria would break up. With the look of things since 2012, it seemed that the prediction may actually come to pass. But just recently, I discovered that the US was only trying to patronize us. They actually knew it would be bad business for them if we were to split. So they needed to find a way to indirectly coerce us to remain united.
So? They predicted doom for Nigeria in order that we might find all possible ways to prevent it.
As we know it, the soon-to-be ex-President did a very good job with regards to that.


Diplomatic ties and Aids:
It's not news to us that whenever our Uncle Sam (US) need to make us into an obedient lamb, they only need to threaten us with their diplomatic aids and relations that 'symbiotically' exist between us. (They probably do more for us than we do for them)
Whenever this kind of situaion comes up (like in the case of gay marriages), in my heart a question comes up with it.

Why do we need relations with them?
But I don't think the answer is quite far fetched..
To sell our oil and gas?
