PDP should go and rest in Abia state, their performance in that state since 1999 has been abysmal. The state should try APGA or APC for a change and see how it goes. embarassed

It is political sophistication learnt from Southwestern Nigeria.

Is Aba not an Ngwa city? It's quite unfortunate that vocal/wealthy minority wants to rule over the majority in a democracy when we all know that Aba is governed by their Igbos tribesmen from local government to Federal constituencies since 1999 till date, yet there has been no complaints.

Haba, let's give it to them, they are the most hospitable breeds in Nigeria.

This is not about APGA and PDP judging from all indices. Had T. A. Orji anointed Alex Otti as PDP candidate six months ago, will you separate Alex Otti from T. A Orji.

If Dr Okezie Ikpeazu or Reagan Ufomba was APGA candidate, will you mobilize APGA against Alex Otti's PDP?

You see how deceptive you were in the quoted comment.

You can even see the injustice against Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and the unfair campaign of portraying him as T. A. Orji and nothing more.

The Gubernatorial election in Abia State is no longer a democratic exercise rather a tribal supremacy and contest hence it's now embrassing to analyze in the context of fairness and patriotism.

No, Abia state needs to try another party, it is the most backward state in the East today. Another party should be given a chance there. undecided

If the PDP candidate has nothing to do with T. A. Orji then why is Orji ready to shake heaven and earth to ensure that he wins?

The intimidation and humiliation from the other camp amid the campaign of calumny against Ngwas is becoming unbearable when in reality the defamators are doing it for selfish interest hence the emergence of Ogbonnaya Onu, Orji Kalu and T. A. Orji as governors and by extension the backwardness of the entire State.

Don't feign ignorance of the hate campaign over decades against the Ngwas in Aba metropolis

Why is Orji Uzor Kalu already shaking heavens for Alex Otti to win?

To answer your question, political alignment.

You must tell yourself the truth and that is T. A. orji has been a disaster to that state. It is so bad that most people don't want anyone or thing associated with that crook.

Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is not T. A. Orji nor is he from Umuahia.

Stop this madness, it's no longer funny.

I dragged them into it because their political sophistication is useless and is best referred to as tribalism in "regional mandate and mission statement"

hate indeed when it widely believed that Reagan ufomba actually won 2011 elections only for ta orhi to rig it..the same ta orhi fighting tooth and nail to put ikpeazu there...hate indeed when ta orhi actually lost in his ward in this senatorial election in ugba gathering only three votes(never mind the crude rigging he did to become winner) while the apga candidate nweke who is from ngwa floored orji in his own backyard

Forget the stories, the ability of winning a gubernatorial election by Igbo son or daughter of Ngwa extraction in Abia State is not in doubt but the capabilities of political cabals working against Ngwas interests for selfish reasons are insurmountable.

Bottom line is the election in Abia State should be free and fair; votes should count and let the candidate with the highest votes govern. This is just a very simple request, T. A. Orji should stop snatching ballot boxes and brandishing touts everywhere. I have some relatives at Umuahia and they tell me all that has been going on under that crook.

Seriously I don't understand why he had to drag the SW into this.

On another note, as much as I think AGPA winning will be good for Abia, you don't sign a deal with the devil and expect to have a happy ending. AGPA should have just remained impartial during the presidential elections.

Why have Ngwa people tribalized this Abia elections, is Otti no longer an Ngwa man with Aro roots.

Why are they making it seem like the rest of the Igbo nation in Abia state and beyond have an anti Ngwa agenda. Why have they allowed T.A to brainwash them like this?

Ngwa people should watch it, they are already toeing the "Ikwerre" path, the "we" vs "the rest of the Igbo nation" path. Every Ngwa man is now talking about how the rest of the Igbo nation has been marginalizing them, and seizing the political and economic control of their beloved city Aba. The Ngwa ethnic consciousness is growing, they are being united by a sense of injustice and marginalization by the "Ohuhus" ( other Igbos).

Blind sentiment is now the order of the day, all rationality is being thrown out the window.

If Okezie should lose this election, the Ngwa resentment of the rest of the Igbo nation will increase exponentially, it will reach it's yield point, I fear for Abia and the Igbo nation.

If you want to speak on Abia politics, the first thing my Ngwa friends will ask you is : " are you an Ngwa person", once you say No, nothing else you say matters. T.A has finally succeeded in dividing Ngwa people from the rest of the Igbo nation. The Ngwa now feels a deep sense if deprivation, marginalization and injustice, they seem to view the rejection of Okezie an Ngwa son, as the a rejection of Ngwa people by the rest of the Igbo nation.

I now want Okezie to win, cos I fear we might have another Ikwerre wahala on our hands, should Okezie lose. Ngwa people have since passed their elastic limit o, they are now at their yield point, should Okezie lose, they will reach their breaking point, we might start hearing of Ngwa ethnic nationality o!
