Samchelsea:The reprieve for the Filipino is temporary.....the woman who made her traffic the drugs has JUST been arrested by the Philippines police....and as such the spared woman may be needed to testify in that lady(her ex--madam's ) trial in the Philippines. Sad as it maybe, they knew the punishment for the crime b4 they committed it, I believe the Indonesian govt is trying to show their stance against drug trafficking and hence send a message across to every intended trafficker....i wish my country Nigeria culd emulate such and we will see a change for the better! 1 Like |

as a muslim, i am not so sure that there is death sentence for drug trafficking in the sharia. even mercy is supposed to be applied because every person is a special case. nigeria needs to tell her citizens not to violate the know laws of the land they are visiting. in fact, we should not participate in any evil, period. the government should rescue nigerians, for the opportunity of a second chance, a do over. every where, it seems like nigerian blood is easier to spill. we should avoid any bloodletting reason/action and place. i feel for the dead. subhannaAllah. 1 Like |
