Abeg, it's a standard clause that PwC inserts in all documents that are not audit opinions. This is to mitigate against litigation from 3rd parties. Also, it is standard to include all areas of limitations. PwC will only work within the scope of work detailed to them.

I wish your post was the first, so people will understand. Some are already believing no money was missing after all, because of that clause.

On another front, peeps are rejoicing that GEJ brought FOI, yet these people didn't open their books for auditing.

Naija which way?

There was no missing 20 billion dollars. I wonder why people are just too dumb to realise this. Sanusi and Obasanjo joined the APC and tried every means, including lying, to bring Jonathan down.

this is arrant nonsense, PWC should provide value for the money paid for the job. If they complain of inaccessibilty to information not to worry Buhari's administration would provide the enabling environment for them to work effectively

We won't know the truth until GMB gets there and we even need an external audit committee

Obasanjo and Sanusi Owns PwC and instigated NNPC and Jonathan that sum funds was still missing. Hate and Partisan has becloud and mentality to believe corruption is normal. If you re found wanting in the scandals of the missing $20b you would be located and arrested.

the money will even be more than 20bn when we start to calculate the way those funds were being mismanaged.

So when GEJ was in charge this agency said " NO MISSING $20B" now They are saying"DONT TRUST OUR FINDINGS"

Like seriously. SYCOPHANTS EVERY TRYING TO PLEASE THE INCUMBENT

Nigerians always want to hear cinderella stories. What we should be fighting for is for the PIB to be implemented bfor the policing starts. That's the only way NNPC can be sanitized. For example oil multinationals do not pay for what they drill but what they export. Most of the ppl shouting corruption are major players in that industry. Tinubu, Danjuma. While I am not exonerating the minister there are far more worse ppl in that industry. It is widely known that these cabals only bring to light sales proceedings they want. Nigerians should be wise because this was delibrately done by some ppl who have no ink with todays goverment. They were only afraid that during the next round of oil well renewal they would be sidelined. The bookkeeping practice of the NNPC was not established after 2009 but far far back.

It was during buhari's chair as minister of petroleum that the late sani abacha laundered several trillions of oil dollars and pounds that foreign countries are refunding back to Nigeria. How could abacha have looted these bogus crude oil money without buhari's connivance.?His hands are not clean too.

The first two tanoids that commented have problems with reading. By the time Baba gets there, NPDC and CBN will open their books. The Minister of Justice has some questions to answer.

Dont mind them my brother GMB will find it.

In deed his ability or inability to find it will become a key appraisal point for his administration. If he fails to find it, it is either Sanusi is a liar (and should be made to pay for the false alarm) or GMB has found it and is pretending not to have found it so they can share it. In which case he is just as 'corrupt' as the people he replaced.

If he does find it and can prove in a court of law that it has been found, the persons found to have embezzled it should go to jail.

Fair enoughhuh

The Avalanche of Sanusi's revelation has thrown NNPC into pandemonium!!

Question remains- Where is our $20B dollars??

the Fact is, there was no missing $20b.
Sanusi was being a false town-crier for APC.
Did you read this script at all? Even if the money is not up to 20billion, it is crystal clear that a definite amount of money is missing according to the report. Or how can report say certain amount of money has to be returned if there is nothing like that?
