And if all past succeeding govts failed to probe their predecessor, that's their problem and not Buhari's.

As for the probe of the missing funds, You couldn't have said it better, The rot in the system didn't start today, If Buhari is really serious about this, Let him start from the period when Gauis Obaseki was the GMD of NNPC. I'm sure my Jona has no skeleton in his cupboard, That was why he made the report public and also challenged the President-elect to carry out any probe he wants to.

Oga, Buhari cannot just single out Jonathan's administration and go to bed. It doesn't work that way and it won't. He also has a case of missing money on his neck as Petroleum Minister. Did he institute any audit? Is he blind to see the allegation against IBB, Abachas, Obasanjo, Sanusi etc? Was he blind when looting was going on under Abacha when he was PTF Chairman? Buhari should do what is right by looking into EVERY allegation. Whether it takes him 4years or 4 decades I don't care.

The campaign speeches/promises he made and anything he has said till now and beyond have become presidential pronouncements since he was declared winner of the March 28 elections.
I hope that is something simple enough for you to understand.

Buhari is at liberty to do what he wants or not do anything sef.
That is his choice.

We will assess the choices he made and make OUR own choice at the ballot box in due course or get our senators and representatives to make that choice on our behalf if he slides too far before the next election due date.
I also hope that is something simple enough for you to understand in our 16 year old democracy that was fought for by valiant heroes of our dear country against Buhari's "saint" Abacha!
