Thanks. I spoke with some serving corp members in Taraba about some minutes ago and I was strongly warned and advised to redeploy immediately. Please what do you see to this?

Ofcourse,redeployment is your best bet...I redeployed and currently serving in Ekiti state(though ghost mode,lolz)...just go along with a medical report from a state/federal govt hospital.They will surely relocate you,either to your state of choice or nearby...I opted for Oyo state,I was given Ekiti state.

I really enjoyed my three weeks camp in Taraba...the soldiers are friendly,enough flexing @maami market but the sun na die oo,flies also dey...help me greet OC morale and dat soldier dat use to teach us Ajakaraja style...After camp,na relocation sure pass o

Go to GBOKO garage in Akure...the garage is on the express road that goes to Ado,benin,abuja etc...I dnt knw the name of the garage...jst ask people in Akure,they knw the garage. U will see ur mates also going to Taraba from dat garage...make sure u are there very early as 5am oo

If so, just get a bus to onitsha. Get dere bfr 12. GUO luxurious bus goes to yola from dere. They wld pass thru jalingo.

I'm sure it'll be fun . I pushed my service back (was suposed to have gone with C14) hoping I'll be free enough to go enjoy the 3Weeks long camp. What can I say? Guess It was never to be.

I'm at the conclusive part of a Training I'm taking in PH. Exactly a month to the end of the training programme. Our Instructors here calls us the lucky Few. In there words, "Its a once in a lifetime opportunity"

If u can get a comprehensive medical report requiring u to cm for prompt check up or stating u r on a particular treatment dat criously nids proper medical attention maybe u myt be allowed to leave camp within 5days. Buh u must start dat processin immediately u enta camp.

If you are in Lagos, you can get a flight or bus.
A flight cost like 26k to Yola and from Yola to Jalingo is like 2k and 5hours.
Buses
Samfan or fair plus load directly from Lagos to Taraba State at 7,500 and is 23-26hours.
Don't be panic, no attack or crisis.
It's a Christian state though they have issues but not at the expenses of the corpers.
I will say again congratulations.
If you want to redeploy back come with your documents is as easy as sleeping and wake up.
And if you are staying prepare your mind.

Good Evening. I camped in Taraba Batch 14C but relocated to Oyo.
If you're going from Lagos, DON'T go alone cos the journey is more than a day and you might be required to sleep in the bus. So go in groups.

To be on the safer side. If u know someone in Abuja, u can spend the night there and continue your journey the next day. From Abuja (Nyanyan car park) to Jalingo is 12 hours plus.

Lastly, when u see a sign board saying 'Welcome to Taraba State', don't give yourself hope that u're there already cos u have 3 hours before you get to Jalingo.

For the ones that can afford flight ticket.
Buy a plane ticket going to Yola. It was 26k, don't know about now. You'll have stopover in Abuja before u get to Yola. From Yola to Jalingo is approximately 3 hours. Those cab guys might want to scam you, tfare from Yola to Jalingo is 1k.

Don't know how the weather is at this time of the year but be prepared for hot sun at 6am and extreme cold in the midnight too.

The best option that seems to b a genuine reason to nysc before thet can allow u to leave d camp after 5days is to claim a life threatening ailment which I for one don't subscribe to. Normally bf u can pull any redeployment, it is always after that three weeks of camping. However in nigeria where d most unexpected can happen, if u know an oga @d top who knows anoda oga@d top in abuja, nothin is impossible. A friend of mine did travel to nysc national secretariat in abuja from Jalingo after camping to plead with dem and his request was granted.

Guy the only way is to get a medical report saying u have a contagious disease like tuberculosis (most common) or any other. That's the only way you can be evicted that fast. Or you have a powerful connection
