It's okay IMO but I didn't find it particularly moving. That may be because themes relating to deceit, pretence and 'forming' have been overflogged in my eyes and ears sha. I think supposedly overflogged themes do better when infused with a little bit of humour here and there or totally going out all the way to satirise them. But as usual, your prose is cooool!
