Nigerian sprinter Blessing Okagbare reveals the secret to the team's success in the 4x200m relay in Bahamas on Saturday. The quartet of Blessing Okagbare, Dominique Duncan, Regina George and Christy Udoh won gold medal in the race.

She posted on her Facebook wall shortly after the race, “For the first time, we the athletes made some decisions as a team to choose who can deliver and deserves to run this race since the officials are very good at messing up things and yes, we did it.

“Sometimes it’s not about what they want but, our feelings and opinions should be taken into consideration. I am really thankful to God everything worked out to the glory of His name because, we weren’t the best team out there but we came to win regardless…Congratulations ladies…”

It's the relays. Drop of baton is part of the race... so that is never an excuse.

USA was also not the only one that dropped the baton. And Nigeria was not the only other team on the track... why didn't other teams WIN?

Jamaica was there. Why didn't they also take d advantage.? OUR girls did well, they deserve commendation

our girls performed very well... our officials shouldn't be bias when selecting athletes to represent our beloved country!

But where did dat lady that painted her lips come 4rm, she's got some bad strides in her legs...Her pace was crazy.

Good run 4rm Okagbare, Duncan and pretty one (I've 4gotten her name now)...Udoh almost messed things up.
