I have met FFK severally and know him quite well. Even though I have disagreed and agreed with him in many ways, I still enjoy a cordial friendship with him, albeit keeping my distance with my personal issues especially given his antecedent of his uncouth verbosity. On June 18th FFK will be facing money laundering charges, of which by most eye witness accounts seems likely true that he infact laundered money while in office. However, as a lawyer and someone well grounded in the nitty gritty of the legal nuances on financial crimes, the chances of FFK going to jail is very slim. FFK that I know will settle for a plea bargain and will go free. Unfortunately the law is a bi***h, but this will ultimately be the case of FFK, and he will go free! Very unfortunate, but that is the likely thing to happen. -CramJones |

The first thing you should decipher is the General's attitude towards a plea bargain. We know the judiciary is independent, but do you really think as this is the first corruption judgement under his administration, a plea bargain would be granted since it's likely to set a precedent for subsequent cases? |

Rawani:The outgoing government has showed no interest in prosecuting him hence the willful suppression of evidence and the uncoordinated manner the EFCC handled the case! A closer look at the adoption of prayers by the two opposing lawyers showed more of collaboration than opposition. This is not a matter of incoming government, the FG has already killed the case, unless Buhari chooses to re arraign him on fresh charges otherwise the man would acquitted and discharged. |

NgeneUkwenu:The prosecution was acting out a script of FG led by GEJ. How else can one explain their inability to produce their witnesses at subsequent hearings if not to ensure he walks away a free man? I am convinced that for FFK to be left of the hook of this case was the main reason he left APC. |

PassingShot:That is the Koko! That's the only way to prevent the Judge from jailing the Never-do-well! The Judge relies on the evidence before him not on sentiments as expressed by the people! I am 100% sure the man will walk free, as the Judge cannot manufacture evidence for the prosecuting team. This is the agreement, FFK had with 0tuoke bastard before crossing over! |

Cramgoat cannot escape jail. Had Jonathan won this election, Cramjones would have gone scot free. But fortunately, even cramjones aka FFK used his own mouth to sentence himself to jail. Elewon jati jati. Don't worry cramjones, you are not the only one going to jail, Okupe et al will join you soonest. Keep calm shogbo? FFK on the brink! ![]() |
