Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the wife of Nigeria’s President-elect, has said one of the immediate priorities of her husband is the release of the Chibok schoolgirls and all the women kidnapped by Boko Haram. Mrs. Buhari stated this while addressing a congregation of women during the Global Conference on Women and Social Inclusion, holding in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to mark the 20th anniversary of the Beijing action.

Mrs. Buhari who led Nigerian women delegates including, Mrs. Mairo Al-makura, Nkechi Okorocha and Abike Dabiri, called for international assistance for Nigeria to overcome the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram. Top dignataries at the conference were the Director-General of the United Nations Women for Africa, Phumzile Miambo, and former Malawian President, Mrs. Joyce Banda. Mrs Buhari and the Nigerian delegation will gain insights from the conference on how to address the challenges facing Nigerian women when General Muhammadu Buhari assume office on 29th of this month.

I don't talk ill of dignitaries but is she saying it's only the Chibok girls she knows about? Over a thousand girls and women have been freed so far and yet they say Chibok girls are not among them.

It really seems Chibok girls missing was used as a political tool to achieve an aim.

Wake up old boy! Chibok girls' kidnapping attracted global attention to a conflict that had been festering under the sleeping GEJ. The abductees should have been rescued long ago but it took the abduction of the chibok schoolgirls and the general election to wake up GEJ.

You can't imagine spending efforts and resources on your daughter and she is not coming back home from school because some animals chose to use her as a weapon of war.

We are happy some abductees have been rescued but we will be more happy if those young innocent schoolgirls are rescued too.

Your assertion that the girls were used as a political tool to achieve an aim, makes you stand out like a sore-finger among GEJ's diehards and deviod of rationality.

First of all, let me correct a misconception - I'm a diehard of nobody. I simply stand up for the truth anywhere I find myself.

Back to the topic. Do you mean over a thousand girls and women were abducted and the global community and Mrs Buhari could not notice but only noticed of over 200 girls?

Do you mean over 1000 girls and women were not as important as Chibok girls? Do you mean resources were not used in training and nurturing over a thousand girls and women abducted but not noticed / reported?

For me there's something someone has not told me but I know time will tell.

'more happy' though we were taught happy, happier, happiest especially for adjectives with two syllables ending with 'y'
