I don't really know how to do much...

Recently, I was customromphobic

I had saved up for almost 6 months to purchase a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3... I used to use Tecno phones and they lack OTA upgrade or any other form of official upgrade. I needed to be able to upgrade my device's OS so that was when I made up my mind to stop using MTK devices.

I saved up for a SGS3 and when I got it, it came with 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It was the GT-I9300, international version and when Kitkat came out, there was unfortunately no official update for my version... I was heart broken o

I saw articles online about using custom ROMs and I was anxious to try it out... Alas! I hard-bricked my 3 months old SGS3... Even Jtag couldn't revive it...

Ever since then, I hated rooting or any custom thingy on an android phone... I got the T-mobile SGS4 earlier this year and was on Stock ROM until last week when I got madly obsessed with the 5.0 update (T-mobile haven't made an official update and I doubt they will)...
I was tempted to try installing a custom rom again!

I've tried before and I failed...
Well, I knew what went wrong the last time (I flashed the wrong recovery.img file)....
I was determined to try and do everything right this time... I successfully flashed Beanstalk, cynogen ROMs and then I came across this beauty!

I can tweak IMEI numbers too but for MTK devices only.....

impressed. can you teach me how to root my note 3?

I am so excited... I've been looking for a Custom ROM for my T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 for a very long time until I came across an awesome one last night while surfing the net.

It comes with lots of Samsung Galaxy S6 features.
The ROM's size is 1.2GB but believe me, it's very much worth it!
This Custom ROM is very neat and it runs smoothly. It works for all variants of Samsung Galaxy S4 like Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, T-mobile, International Version, etc.

Don't drop your guard yet bro...since you rooted, you need to flash a custom recovery and backup your stock ROM before doing anything else on the phone..if you brick it without a custom recovery, the alternative would probably be to flash the entire firmware, better safe than sorry

[b]It's EXTREMELY advisable to plug in your phone before starting this process and your battery level should be at 80% at least!

1. Root your s4

2. Downland the ROM. The link is included in the main post of this thread. (Downloading of Gapps is optional. I installed them manually because most Gapps will need application updates and you'll waste mb in updating them again undecided

)

3. After downloading, put the Rom.zip file in the root of your SD Card. You can put it in your phone memory but putting it in an external memory like your SD card is advisable. DO NOT EXTRACT IT.

4. Download and install ROM MANAGER from Play Store

5. Use ROM MANAGER to automatically detect your phone version

6. After the detection, download and install CWM Recovery via the ROM MANAGER app

7. You should then boot to recovery from the ROM MANAGER app after it has successfully downloaded and installed CWM Recovery.

8. When in recovery, BACK UP your current Rom... You'll see the options there. The Back Up process will take time... Just leave your phone. Make sure it's still plugged in o.

9. After the restoration is complete, go to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset"..... Then, "Wipe Cache Partition".... Then, go to " Advance".... Then, go to "Wipe Dalvik Cache".... After that, go back to the recovery main screen.

10. While in the Recovery main page or screen, go to "Install Zip".... If you saved the Rom in your phone memory, go to "Install zip from SD Card" but if you saved it in your memory card, go to "Install zip from SD card1" wink

11. When you've seen the file, flash it! Flashing doesn't take much time but booting up the phone for the first time will take a while. Make sure that the phone is still charging o and don't touch it! angry

Note: The phone will take TIME to boot up.... You can trek to Abuja and back to while away time if you like grin

Follow the procedures above and you won't have a single problem cheesy

Custom Roms generally come rooted.
