The outgoing president of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday said that owing to all the benefits he has enjoyed right from his school days, he was ready to die for the country, Nigeria. Jonathan noted that many Nigerians work harder than he does, stating that several security personnel who don't get up to 0. 5 percent of the benefits he derives from office, have been paying the supreme price for the country.

Jonathan spoke at the Thanksgiving and Farewell service in his honour at the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Cathedral Church of the Advent, Life-camp, Gwarimpa, Abuja. The president said, apart from enjoying scholarships while in school, he became a deputy governor, governor, Vice president and President by the grace of God.

You are right, talk is cheap. His statement is meretricious, deceit and blatant lie. This is a man from the street became the president but failed and now trying to put a face of a patriot.

He occupied the highest office in the country but he is too insincere, confused and unserious to make the needed changes and take the necessary steps.

nigerians will always remember him like the other useless leaders that failed the country.
