It would have been alot different if Sir Alex was still the head coach of Man Utd. He had the reputation of a brutal no-nonsense man, who made sure he did everything possible to keep the boys in shape. Those boys had no choice order than to bring their A game, or be sold off or replaced by a much better version of themselves...They all knew they could be easily replaced, and so they always had to be on their toes and not only deliver, but also they had to be consistent in doing that......Now, they all seem relaxed and all out of shape ....They(most especially Rooney), needs to be whipped back to shape.

The team spirit he inculcated in them was superb. Even when they were weak, this team spirit made them performed excellently.

Yep!....The term team spirit is unfortunately now a thing of the past....I honestly do miss those days when Ronaldo and Rooney played together.

When Ronaldo left the team, I thought it was over for Man U but they proved me wrong. They played in such a way you hardly detect their weaknesses.

You know what?....Although Ronaldo was a great asset to ManUtd, but never single handedly carried the team; His accomplishments at ManUtd was as a result of the help he got from his teammates, and so Yes, his departure barely affected the team.

Very true. That was the secret of Sir Alex, he never built the team solely on a player.
