2007 Nissan Pathfinder 4WD.

This is the third time i am changing my front shock absorber springs,both shocks are good.

Please what could be responsible for the frequent breaks,the last incidence both front shock springs broke at thesame time.

You should probably talk to nissparts. Though this may seem to be a common problem with your vehicle brand, yours is too frequent.

Have you heard of the word "choice " before? I dnt have to like toyota because everyone likes it in Nigeria,i have driven toyota and still drives toyota but will prefer Nissan/Infiniti to toyota anyday anytime.

Let's focus on the main question the op asked and ignore derailing tactics .

Are the springs being fixed by the same person or workshop?

Possibility of human error too.

fanex, chill out, what do you stand to gain from all this?

@OP, nissparts is your best bet, but 3 times is much o, I know people who use same SUV as that but I have not heard them complain about this issue. you can also follow auhanson's advice about the springs been expired, buy as for your weight ......... *lips sealed *

Also ensure you are picking the right springs.

Your vehicle is 4WD...RWD springs of the same make and model not recommended.

I don't get your grouse with nissan. Here in abuja a greater number of cabs on the road are nissan, then mazda. If nissan isn't a good brand why will a cab man intentionally put himself in trouble
