I still remember a few years ago when some people were pronouncing Barcelona as "Uefalona" denoting how closely Barcelona was netted with European football governing body, UEFA.


I as well as other objective fans saw it differently because the Barcelona squad even in defeat had the quality of the champion.


I want to really know objective fans of the beautiful game, if Barcelona was / is still being assisted by referees to succeed?

Barcelona were never assisted by referees. It was just a sentimental notion which most anti-barca people had about Barcelona.

And it's UEFA, not EUFA.

Anti Barcelona friends almost convinced me that Barcelona was not good enough to attain the level of success they did if not for the referees' assistance.
But suddenly not talks about that anymore.

FC Barcelona are good. Nothin like referee assistance. Credit must be given to whom it's due.

Our philosophy of keeping the ball can make the opposition make some wrong choices that may lead to red card or penalty, thats why we came under much criticism of the opposition fans
