U are still greedy in ur write up
Why can't d edo man dat won house of rep seat be d speaker? must it be for d south west or north east?
How possible is that,so you mean a newly elected member should be the speaker? Even as a floor member in the house he won't be active for some months talkless of him being the speaker. Bro south south and south east brought this shit on themselves, they should manage what will be given to them.

exactly what we need to do. We need to unite to stop the " born to rule " mallams. I will never vote for a northerner
I remember vividly that I pointed this out sometimes back, that is before the presidential election but I received insults and curses from you people. Am very much sure you voted for Buhari in the election. Nevertheless, lemme tell you that I've had experiences, when I say experiences, I mean first hand experiences from the northerners and I can say it openly that most people that screamed change from Lagos have not been to or thought about going to the north.

I spent five (5) years schooling there. I know what I saw, even at the level of ordinary departmental elections were turned around and all posts occupied by them, even with large number of Christians in my school then. The lecturers had an election on who to be the next VC, and Northern Christian from that state won the election but due to the protest within the school and the almajiri protest outside the school, this man was denied that post and it was handed over to a "born to rule". To them, this election wasn't about change, it was about them, North and their religion. They don't care if Nigeria burns to ashes, unless of course they are at the top.

Mind you also that I experienced the 2011 post election violence, another violence after some bomb blasts occurred in churches on a Sunday and I was almost killed by one bomb blast on my way to school. So I've been there and I've seen it all.

The drill here is, since you guys aligned with them, you have to just make up your mind to take whatever comes your way. If they deny you people all posts, then take it with good faith, but if they give you any, also take it with good faith. The end will justify the means.

Also, don't expect too much from them, else you may find yourself sitting on a hot stove.

Peace man.

Bluffly:
I'm a Yoruba man and I do not take sides to any GZ. I only pity the future of Nigeria when tribalism has taking the baton over good governorship and Green achievements.
We can no longer see beyond our nose because of tribalism. There is no super power tribe in Nigeria as the saying goes that no one can make you inferior except you permit it. So all this gilbrish of North being an elder brother to SW is totally rubbish.
You all should wake up and stop promoting the nonsense your forefathers promoted which brought Nigeria down to shackles.
A vote for good governance suddenly becomes a tribal sentiment.
Wish all of you well.
may God bless you.

Thank you my brother!
I remember writing similar post here too, warning fellow Southerners that the north is not interested in any so called "change" but to have power at all cost. But yor robber bigots called me PDP e-warrior.
Bro, I also studied in the north and understand the level regional and tribal politics they play up there. But bigots from Southwest wouldn't listen. Even when the few sensible ones among them like Femi Kayode, Fayose etc were drumming it into their ears that the north is only concerned about returning power to them, they still sheepishly followed Tinubu. Now they want to blame their impending political doom on SE/SS. Nonsense! If not for people like Fayose, FFK and other reasonable Yoruba people I have met, I would have said let amadioha strike all yorubas dead without mercy.

Anyway, for now:

I never knew you're a bigot till this very minute. Take a look at your deep-seated hate and paranoia not excluding your hypocrisy. You alluded that the SW made electoral choices which they were free to make; but when the SE & SS makes their own choices which they are entitled and free to make, you term it spiting the SW? You're officially the number 1 hypocrite. Never thought you had this part in you.

So a Northern man was clearly talking about the Northern domination right in front of you, saying the SW are asking for too much, and you left the tribal bigot and blamed the SE and SS? Does cowardice run in your blood? In all your post, you never chastised the tribal bigot for his illogical statement, all you did was turn around and blame the Igbos? Wow!! Your hate and cowardice is legendary. I've lost all respect for you, tribal bigot!!
Oh!... So you're just losing the respect you have for Gbawe the epistle writer?...my good sir, I've lost mine a long time ago, I respected the papa when I was just a guest here, not until I became a member did i get to know the true color of that chameleon.

Well, the truth is, no tribe in Nigeria, and I repeat, no tribe in Nigeria, has or shows love for one another compared to these people. That basically, is their strength. An Igbo man will rather fend for himself and/or his family/household (am an Igbo man so I know what am saying here) and then fight for supremacy (obtaining all the titles in the land and wanting all the respect). An Hausa/Fulani knows only his kind. They love their kind to a fault and I've noticed that the only reason that can make a Fulani/Hausa kill his kind is woman issue. A case of which rarely happens.

You ma try self. Maybe I never met his holier side or his more sensible side but really, I can't respect a 68 years old man who whenever he opens his mouth, pours insults on a group, tribe, etc. Before the election, they made us believe that the rejection of GEJ was because of his poor performance. Although some of them pointed out marginalization, but still claimed GEJ's underperformance was the major reason they wanted him out.

What is happening now? Are they telling us the major reason they voted Buhari was because they wanted more roles in government? See how the old man is displaying his childish and barbaric manners for the whole nairaland to see. If the old show so much hate for other tribes, little wonder the young go about singing Xenophobic tunes. Akiolu did, that doctor did and now this old nag and a Nairaland resident tribalist has started his. Now what do we expect from the younger generation?

Same old nag of a man that insulted the collective interest of the SE/SS combined, called them all manner of disheartening names, tagged them tribalistic, tagged them politically blind, etc, before and after the election. He is now insulting same group of people because of what an Hausa/Fulani man said. It seems as though the SE/SS are the easier animals to pray on? No way, one thing I know for sure is that his useless rants on here will eventually end here because an average Yoruba man you meet on the street is never ready to take up arms against the Igbos because they know truly that we caused them no harm. I have Yoruba friends and Yoruba people in my area and they don't reason like this old internet Xenophobic warlord.

As an Igbo man, I'd say to hell with any political posts. Don't give any Igbo man anything but use the slot u wanna create for us to rather fix our home. Having an Igbo man up there doesn't translate to having all our problems solved.

Even if Barcanister was 15 years of age, I'd respect and place him above that old nag any day, anytime.

Really, I care less if he reads my post. My reason for stating the obvious is that we on here know who the real hypocrite is and same hypocritical bigot goes about calling people names that should be ascribed to him via coronation. In short, he's a hypocrite and bigot maker. Like the role of a kingmaker, this hypocrite/bigot maker uses his influence on Nairaland to sway the line of thought of the younger Nairalanders and therefore have them reason like him. Have you ever wondered why some people like his hypocritical and bigoted posts? The likes are all products of his hate/bigot/hypocrisy campaign.

The young are not the problem in Nigeria, rather it's these old men with immature attitude that are the problems in Nigeria.

Funny thing is this, the jack Bauer wannabe claims to be Igbo, but when this "uncle" of her's castigates and insults the igbos for what a northerner said, She will be happy. undecided, very pathetic. They all need serious introspection, Let them keep blaming igbos for their woes from the unholy Union they made with those "born to rule" elements. It's only a matter of time, it will dawn on them. It is like you are blind. If not, you would have seen that he was just quoting your bloda's reference to Yoruba. I guess you are doing selective viewing. You saw his comment but chose to be blind to what prompted his comment. Igbos are always looking for opportunities to play victims. It has become part of you to the extent that you now do it unconsciously.

Uncle my foot! angry
Watch out!
Do you prefer I call you "Uncle" then? Why are you bitter about it? If you don't have respect for people older than you,I do!

Show me where my "Uncle" insulted or castigated Igbos and I will stop calling him "Uncle".

You take that woman seriously too? Hehehehehehehe, I see that woman as nothing but a joker.. She never makes one bit of sense to me, truly, even the bigoted old man speaks like a learned hate filled goon unlike the one who said she's an Igbo woman. Check most of her posts, she'd just post one or two lines and they're all insulting or aggressive. She has never made any reasonable comment here. Maybe she was disowned, I don't know..

Don't pretend like you haven't seen his posts, Go through this thread from the first page, then come back and quote me.
You can't call me "uncle" because I believe you're older than me, But all the same, Not all elderly people deserves respect, Respect is reciprocal.

Yes,I have read his posts and there was no where he insulted or castigated my people.

He is not an ethnic bigot just like some of his people and that's why I respect him a lot. He separates APC from ethnic bigotry. He doesn't mix the two unlike others who do.

He deserves my respect as long as we support the same course.
