They keep leaving in denial saying the young are too corrupt.....the young have failed....so we should try the old ones.........forgetting that it is the old people that thought the new people corruption

The youths in Nigeria need to understand one thing, you are in a competition with the older generation and the older generation (your opponents) will not sit back, smile and hand over the price to you.

The only way youths can take over the leadership of this nation is by grabbing it; get mentored, redefine and differentiate yourself and then go for the crown. Nobody is going to hand over the mantle of leadership to the youths on a platter.

That being said, what is even the big deal about youth leadership? DOes it necessarily translate to better leadership?... Just like tribal / religious / ethnic / gender politics, the problem of Nigeria isn't based on these things and a youth leading Nigeria will not automatically translate to good governance. So why exactly should I be bothered about lack of youths in top positions?
