ICS Limited Sets Example In Corporate Social Responsibility

We are happy to inform you that ICS Limited has decided to help the government solve the perennial challenge of an undulating bad road on Olusoji Idowu Street, Ilupeju, Lagos (location of our Head Office).
This is done as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in recognition of the company’s 20 years of operations.
The work has commenced and is expected to be completed in a few weeks. We are tarring the entire stretch of Olusoji Idowu Street.

Those are the BEFORE and AFTER of the parts already completed. The project is already over 70% executed and is monitored by both the Local Government as well as a contracted Quality Control Professional.

Good one, wishing others replicate this. But I doubt if your company is 1st to address social responsibity or am I wrong? Someone pls enlighten me coz I know a Bank that engages in sweeping certain parts of Lagos.

I tire ooo,the place is just behind my crib,but I think he is trying to emphasis on the fact that the project was fine by a private firm.
The problem is that when private individuals or company decides to do a trunk C road, especially in Lagos the local Government officials will stop them citing some ridiculous laws or the fact that the contract as being given out but no funds to execute it,it happened to my uncle in Surulere I was amazed how we can be enemy to our own progress.
