Even d greatest chef doesn't get it right at all times. Just sharing a pics of my attempt to make pancake that went wrong this time around.

Next time you can use an electric sandwich toaster in place of a fry pan or add lots of
butter,eggs and baking powder to mixture before scooping it into a hot and non sticky frypan

NB: don't add sugar to the mixture the syrup has got that covered

Hmm, tqs for d advice but u know I've fried it this same way b4 and it turned out pretty well, but just this time around it got wrong. Btw, I don't use baking powder for my pancakes and I don't like it dry nd crispy (

I think your problem was the sugar cause i can see a lot of burnt parts in the pic the work of frying sugar and batter under intense heat
The baking powder dosen't make it crunchy it only stops it from scattering

Looks like something went amiss with your mixture.
